Skateboarding is a beautiful form of art. It's not about board flips or running from the cops. A participant in midair resembles spontaneous art; located on the canvas. The skaters paint a vivid picture on the sidewalk with their boards. It's about more than skating. The sport is a celebration of life. People from all over the plant partake. Some of them from common backgrounds. Others have nothing in common. Yet one thing brings them all together. A passion for something incredibly unique and simplistic. It can be summarized in one simple word. Skateboarding.

The action sport is a lifestyle open to everyone. Their are no boundaries. If you accept it's beauty and admire it's artist display your accepted. Like art people have used in a meditative state. Authorities often attempt prohibit the activity. Yet it remains alive and timeless like art. Everything from Deck graphics to the lingo is art. The culture features different creative mediums.

Art galleries give visitors an opportunity to witness forms of art. They are exposed to numerous mediums. Each one was created by passion and an open mind. Skateboarding is also showcased. It's fans attend and watch various events. Everything from street skating to downhill are view able. These various mediums are located in galleries around the world.

When skate shops operate their not only turning a profit. The shops operate like an art gallery. Artistic merchandise lines their wall. Sometimes it was produced by local artists. Other times the artistic items weren't. If skaters are talented enough they become sponsored. This opportunity gives artists a spotlight. A rare opportunity similar to major art
