Cloud Computing is possibly one of the most misunderstood technologies on the market today, and also one of the most useful for small and mid-sized businesses. But all too often the term is used incorrectly, to describe anything from social media to online games Cloud. IBM is hardly alone in facing the economic challenge of cloud computing, in which companies buy computing delivered, remotely, as a service over the Internet. It is fair to examine IBM, First, how IBM is using cloud computing. Second, how IBM is benefiting from using the cloud and third, the challenge that IBM faces with cloud computing. First, to succeed, IBM has to convince corporations that its cloud offerings and its understanding of the customer’s business make it the preferred technology partner for migrating to the cloud. The company made major commitments in new fields — like technology to help customers find insights in today’s flood of digital data, and cloud-style computing in which processing and software is delivered remotely over the Internet. Cloud computing is converting to an opportunity for IBM. IBM cloud includes infrastructure as a service (IaaS), software as a service (SaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) offered through public, private and hybrid cloud delivery models, in addition to the components that make up those clouds. Building cloud environments for clients such as IBM Cloud Infrastructure, Platform, Solutions, and Services each of them provide users different services to accomplish daily task or goal. These cloud computing services offers tools for cloud based collaborations, developments and tests, application developments, analytics,

...COMPILER DESIGN LECTURE NOTES UNIT -1 1.1 OVERVIEW OF LANGUAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM 1.2 Preprocessor A preprocessor produce input to compilers. They may perform the following functions. 1. Macro processing: A preprocessor may allow a user to define macros that are short hands for longer constructs. 2. File inclusion: A preprocessor may include header files into the program text. 3. Rational preprocessor: these preprocessors augment older languages with more modern flow-of-control and data structuring facilities. 4. Language Extensions: These preprocessor attempts to add capabilities to the language by certain amounts to build-in macro 1.3 COMPILER Compiler is a translator program that translates a program written in (HLL) the source program and translate it into an equivalent program in (MLL) the target program. As an important part of a compiler is error showing to the programmer. They begin to use a mnemonic (symbols) for each machine instruction, which they would subsequently translate into machine language. Such...
