Overview:
Neat Party Supplies and Rentals were created in 2008. The founders of the company Nancy Wilson, Esteban Acosta, Amanda Pensa and Tonio Cintron pride themselves for providing exceptional service to the Tucson community. Neat Party Supplies and Rentals have four convenient locations. We are located on the Northwest side on Cortaro and the Freeway, West side on Grant and Silverbell, East side on Tanque Verde and Houghton, and our Central location on Fort Lowell and Campbell. We cater to any and all needs of the customer. We specialize in items for birthdays, holiday parties, company events, weddings and more. The products and services that Neat Party Supplies and Rentals offer are balloons, bouncy castles, folding chairs and tables, candy, goody bag items, themed birthday party favors, flatware, silverware and decorations. What set us apart from all other competitors are the specialized items that we carry in store. These items include but are not limited to DJ equipment, special effect lighting, and music, screen projection to show movies or slide shows and karaoke machines.
Mission Statement: Our mission statement for NEAT Party Supplies and Rentals is to provide our customers with the highest customer satisfaction with our services and knowledge. We pride ourselves with having knowledgeable staff and recognizing them for who they are and what they bring to the company. By working as a team, NEAT Party Supplies and Rentals will be more productive and more efficient than our competitors.
Vision Statement: Our vision is to provide our customers with an outstanding experience with our service, quality, and selections.

Description of the product: There are many different products that we offer here at NEAT Party Supplies and Rentals. Not only do we carry items for themed birthday parties and other celebration but we carry specialty items to make a person’s party over the top. When we opened our doors back in 2008, we realized that there are going to be times that business was slow. That is why we decided to add specialty items to our store. That is what sets us apart from any other party supply store. Normally a person would have to go to a couple different places to get all the items that they need to throw their party. Here at NEAT Party Supplies and Rentals, we like to think of ourselves as a one stop shop.
SWOTT Analysis:
The SWOTT analysis for NEAT Party Supplies and Rentals will differ at certain times of the year. The strengths that our company has are skilled and experienced workers. We make sure that upon hire our employees go through a mandatory job training to make sure that they are well equipped with the knowledge to run a profitable store. Cross training and job shadowing is another must that all employees once hired will complete. Making sure that all employees are cross trained means that in a crisis there is someone in the store at all times that knows how to run every part of the store. The weaknesses of the store will vary. During the summer months our sales may show a decrease as people go on vacation. Another weakness that our company may face is not having available merchandise when needed. Making sure that we have the available merchandise for our customers is always a must. An example of not having enough of particular merchandise was when Disney Frozen was released. Due to manufacturing issues, NEAT Party Supplies and Rentals were not able to obtain certain items needed to sell. This left a lot of our customers unhappy and going elsewhere. An opportunity that we can hope for is expansion. With expanding our company into different cities there is room to make NEAT Party Supplies and Rentals a much more profitable company. Being able to expand our company not only means more of a profit for us but it also means larger customer base. Threats that we can face are customers destroying equipment or not returning it. To make sure that we are covered all for types of disasters, we have our customers sign waivers, put a deposit down for any equipment, and have a credit card on file. By signing a waiver, the customers know that they are going to be held responsible for any damages that may occur to our equipment while it is in their possession. Upon return of the equipment, customers will get a portion of their deposits back as long as there are no damages. With the specialized items that we have in store this could set a trend for other companies. If other companies see how well our profits are doing by renting out these specialty items, they could want to do the same thing. The other companies may have employees go through such training to make sure they are knowledgeable to sell the same particular items.
Marketing strategy and tactics for this new product or service:
Special memberships will be available that will accumulate points for added discounts and bonuses. There will be different packages to choose from so one can be sure to have the right type of options to customize the exact type of experience they are looking for. Special membership bonuses will include extra supplies for the customer’s party or discounts on the parties. We even offer discounts on equipment rentals. Some may wonder why membership? The basic reasoning behind the concept is that memberships have the ability to increase commitment and create the feeling of belonging to the organization (Rabinowitz, 2013).
Importance of Marketing for Organizational Success:
Marketing is an essential part of a business’ strategy for long-term success. Different business can have different views of what marketing means and how to create an effective marketing strategy specifically to meet the customer needs and the needs of the company. A marketing plan must have a defined goal and a vision on how to obtain that goal. The team is tasked to define a marketing plan to introduce Neat Party Supplies and Rentals. This marketing plan will provide an overview of the existing organization and describe the new services being considered. The main scope of marketing is to identify and to meet social and human needs. Neat Party Supplies understands that as an organization that reaches many consumers daily, the agenda of its marketing campaigns can determine the success or failure of the company. Additionally, the marketing plan will analyze the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats, and Trends (SWOTT) of these new services. Finally, the plan will describe the research approach the team will use to develop the strategy and tactics to introduce the new Neat Party Supplies and Rental Company.
