Marketing Strategy of laundry shop in selected town in Cavite

I. THE PROBLEM
Introduction
Now a days, not only in Manila has laundry shop for workers who are so busy, they can’t wash there cloths at their own hands. Laundry shop was well known nowadays even in Cavite for those persons who are so busy and there’s no time to wash their cloths even the students are at the dormitory or boarding house. The laundry shop business has a very bright potential. Every year it is getting harder to get a “labandera”. Besides this, more and more households now have both husband and wife going to work and college students who are so busy for their school works. Many working wives now turn over this chore to a laundry shop. College students too often would rather outsource their laundry whenever they could afford it. More time and effort will be saved by the residents and perhaps, it could be spent on other household chores, doing paper works and other.

The selected laundry shop in Cavite significantly acts a helper for the people who does not have enough time to do the laundry. It will be managed by a partnership who is a resident of the community. Through that, the target market is rest assured that the owners of the business adhere to what they need to get full satisfaction. It is a very good idea to put up a laundry shop in the subdivision because it also gives the mothers or the ones responsible for doing the laundry, an extra time to bond with other family members or do other productive things. Instead of doing the laundry that is tiring, people could just deposit their clothes in the shop and wait for it to get done. More time and effort will be saved by the residents and perhaps, it could be spent on other household chores, doing paper works and other.

Blue Ocean Strategy

...Review Blue Ocean Strategy: From Theory to Practice W. Chan Kim Renée Mauborgne © 2005 by The Regents of the University of California Blue Ocean Strategy: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE W. Chan Kim Renée Mauborgne or twenty-five years, competition has been at the heart of corporate strategy. Today, one can hardly speak of strategy without involving the language of competition: competitive strategy, competitive benchmarking, building competitive advantages, and beating the competition. Such focus on the competition traces back to corporate strategy’s roots in military strategy. The very language of corporate strategy is deeply imbued with military references—chief executive “officers” in “headquarters,” “troops” on the “front lines,” and fighting over a defined battlefield.1 Industrial organization (IO) economics gave formal expression to the prominent importance of competition to firms’ success. IO economics suggests a causal flow from market structure to conduct and performance.2 Here, market structure, given by supply and demand conditions, shapes sellers’ and buyers’ conduct, which, in turn, determines end performance.3 The academics call this the structuralist view, or environmental determinism. Taking market structure as given, much as military strategy takes land as given, such a view drives companies to try to carve out a defensible position against the competition in the existing market space. To sustain themselves in the marketplace, practitioners of strategy focus on building...

Abstract In the field of business ethics, there has been much written and discussed about ethical matters in areas where there is a distinct right and wrong, but relatively little written about how to make decisions when the ethical issue isn’t as black and white. When marketing a product, it is one’s hope that ethical issues are typically not inherent to the marketer; however, when one has the unenviable task of marketing a controversial product, it becomes a true question of “grayarea” ethics that makes marketing decisions more difficult to make. Companies depend on marketing, as it is the one higher-level areas of corporate function that results in the...

...Introductory Marketing Place Chapter 11 Armstrong/ Kotler Marketing: An Introduction  Marketing Channels and Supply Chain Management I. The Nature of Distribution Channels Channels of Distribution is known as "Place" in the "4 P's" model of Marketing. Distribution Channels provide the utility of place, of having products where the customer wants when the customer wants them. In these days of customer focus and emphasis on competition, the 4 P's model is considered very simplistic, and I've always thought that was probably why Marketers began referring to Place as Channels, to move us away from "The "4 P's" as a description of all of what Marketing is about; nevertheless, "place" is a convenient way to think of the term Channels of Distribution. |Distribution is particularly important in a country |[pic] | |like Canada with our huge size and our northern | | |climate. University of Nice 2010 Mojtaba Jebreili i Abstract Brand is a very important element in today's life. Brand management has become a serious task for marketing and branding departments in all firms. While branding is a comprehensive issue dealing with all parts of a company, there are some branding tasks which are specifically accomplished by marketing and branding departments or branding companies. One of these tasks is brand communications consisting of the selection and design of brand elements, advertising and online branding.
