I would upgrade windows 7 professional in order to maximize all utilities that the program offers and also to upgrade to what is needed to match the business needs. Things like direct access, which the newest server technology to be available. By upgrading this program it allows the users server to run off of windows 7 technology, which will allow the user to run server 2008 while operating in the R2. When running through this program the user will experience the ability to connect to resources on the internet without having to create a VPN connection. The other reason that windows 7 professional is probably the most efficient for this scenario us cause the idea of the branch cache which offers the ability to access alternative to alleviate the idea of slow connectivity, which should suffice for the offsite warehouse and stop the slow connection. The enterprise scope allows the admin to populate links which would stop any sort of connection stoppage. This also helps with the connection of the warehouse which should speed up immediately. Being as though the computers run on the directx9 video card, the professional Microsoft windows 7 version would enhance that sort of digital graphics and drivers. Being as though these ideas are easily fixed with the professional aspect of windows, I would select that version to fix everything that is wrong with the server and connection. I would do an upgrade instead of just a clean installation. An upgrade would keep all files and information that was stored before the upgrade. A clean installation would wipe all information clean of the server and computer, so I would make sure to protect the admin information by just upgrading rather than a clean

...do their homework right after school. Maybe they think good study habits mean kids should study in the same quiet place every day. Maybe they think that you should sit still until all your work is done.Well, parents aren't always right!A lot of new research shows that the usual ways of studying may not always be the best ways. Different kids study best in different ways. Here are some twists on study tips and good study habits. You just have to figure out what works for you. Study Tip: Move Before You Study Maybe your mom or dad tells you to do your homework as soon as you get off the bus. Ask if you can shoot hoops or run for 15 or 20 minutes first. Explain that you're not trying to put off your work. It's just that exercising your body may help your brain.Kids in a Chicago-area school do PE first if they're having problems with math or reading. They do much better on tests after they exercise. Moving before you do homework can help get your brain ready to study. Study Tip: Pick Your Study Spot Your parents may have set up a great desk in a quiet room. But you feel better doing homework on the floor in the living room or in your bedroom. The important thing is to find a place where you'll pay attention.Your bedroom might give you privacy. That's great if you have annoying brothers or sisters. But if you start looking at the stuff in your room instead of your math problems, find another place to work. It may even help kids study better when they do homework in different...

...ROLE OF PARENTS TO THE STUDY HABITS OF THEIR CHILDREN (Michelle Aycock) Parents do play a major role in helping their child develop good study habits. Children should begin to develop homework habits as early as first grade. Providing a positive and supporting study environment is a key in getting good grades. Help your child develop good organizational skills by encouraging them to stay focused on their homework, but not completing it for them. Another important role of homework is not only for children to learn about a subject, but also to teach them responsibility. Being successful in school requires hard work and developing a habit of working toward positive goals. It is important for parents to be involved with their child’s study time by spending time with them, such as helping them with their homework, but not by completing it for them. For example, parents can check to see if the answer to their math problem is correct or help them understand an assignment by explaining it to them. When helping your child, be sure to give them praise and positive comments as this will let your child associate positive feelings with studying. Effects of Modern Technology on the Study Habits of Student  “When it comes to study they only depend on technology rather than reading books. And technology can also affect in body health resistance and once you already learn to love copy and paste in the internet in the future you become lazy.” Mr. Philippe Christian John D. Future to Past

...Back to the Classroom Parents who went to school in the past were taught differently than the way we are taught today. Many were impecunious in the past; the students were pushed harder, helping them gain scholarships for college. There weren’t many distractions technologically speaking. History has been evolving; curriculum wasn’t as simple as it is now as it was back then. Teachers taught students with discipline and respect. Students in the past weren’t wealthy which caused them to work and be pushed even harder. For example, my mother had a rough childhood, because my grandparents weren’t wealthy at the time. She had to work really hard to keep her grades up. Students were expected by their parents to do well in school; gain scholarships and hopefully attend college. Students didn’t have the proper supplies to complete their course work such as pens and pencils. In the 1900s; students were not very motivated, the only motivation received was from pushing themselves to do better. Quandom students were way more disciplined then the minds of today. Whenever they caused problems they got whacked across the face for misbehaving. If they were to utter words during a lesson or during a time of silence they also got disciplined. When spoken to many students answered “yes and no mam”. When looking at how money and discipline worked in the past and comparing them to now and days we can obviously see a huge difference. Now in the 21st Century we as a generation don’t...

...In many ways you can approach math like sports: Train with a buddy. If you possibly can, get a study buddy or form a study group, and meet regularly at least two or three times a week. Very often one of you will be able to help the other one with a problem. Deal with cramps right away. When there’s something you don’t understand, you may be tempted to just put it aside and hope for the best. That strategy doesn’t work at all in math! Because everything builds, if you don’t understand A you will probably not understand B and C either. If this happens in class, ask a question right away. Don’t apologize and don’t worry about looking stupid; probably other people have exactly the same question. Outside of class, use the Baker Center tutors or talk through the problem with your study buddy. Visit your instructor during office hours or make an appointment for another time. Warm up before the event. Before class, look back over the readings and your homework. Make sure you are ready with any questions. Stay in training. Review your notes after class, even rewrite them to make sure you understand everything. If there are several days between classes, review the material at least every other day to keep it fresh in your mind. Make sure you train enough. The College recommends 2–3 hours per classroom hour, but you may need more. Recognize especially that in the summer you’re making a big time commitment. If your class meets five days a week for an hour and 40 minutes a day, that’s...

...Attitudes Affect Student Performance in Introductory College Accounting Courses? Darwin D. YU  Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines Abstract  Background: Financial accounting is a skills course which to a large extent can be best learned through deliberate practice. They are treated as independent variables using multiple regression analysis, with the accounting course nal grade as the dependent variable. The paper also examines the factors that differentiate high- from low-performing students.  Results:  The study found that math prociency, English prociency, high school accounting, and academic aptitude inuence accounting performance, supporting the ndings of many previous researches on cognitive factors. Four Basic Principles to Enhance Study Skills

...Enhance Study Skills 1. Make doing homework a positive experience: associate it with love and affection, freedom, fun and self-control. 2. Make homework a high priority. 3. Use homework to teach organization skills and improve learning skills. Remember that the primary purpose of homework is to improve learning and foster work habits. 4. Set expectations for homework, then provide and enforce logical, meaningful consequences if those expectations are not met. Make Doing Homework a Positive Experience • Provide support and praise for homework completion. • Be available to provide non-critical assistance. • Give children choice in when, where, and how they complete homework assignments. • Encourage your children to complete homework well enough that they have a sense of pride and control over their own learning and levels of competence. • Maintain a positive and helpful attitude: avoid criticism and anger. • Help children understand what types of homework they enjoy, and encourage them to choose assignments accordingly. When given a choice, some students prefer written reports; others prefer hands-on projects. • Use homework preferences in developing a homework schedule. Some children prefer to complete the assignments they like least first, while others prefer to do their easier or favorite work first. • If a child dislikes a subject, find ways to make it less frustrating. For example, set a goal of doing five math problems and then taking a stretch, listening...

Numeracy: This is a vey important key skill because you use maths in everyday life and you need maths for this position for problem solving and calculating costs for stocks. Time Management: Time management means to be a good efferent worker and balance your time for study, leisure, work or personal time. My parents pushed me to get all A's but they know I try so they're going to be understandable with what i get. Now that there is a new semester, there are many things i need to work on, My two lowest grades were the D's I had in Math & Science. Both subjects were really hard for me. i do feel bad that I didnt get a good grade in there because I know I could've pshed even harder to raise it up. My parents will be mad because they wanted me to get higher grades. Play games has really affected my grade this semester. It got in the way of school somewhat and it took up my study time at home. I am able to cut back on playing games because I know if I don't my grades will not be really good this semester. When I want to relax and enjoy life, I go bike riding around town. It helps me get away from things and it clears my mind of stress. I fi can go back to fix what I did wrong, I would do all of my homework. I would focus more in school and study more each day afterschool at home instead of playing games. I want to do all that because I know it would make me smarter and I would've had much better grades. AVID has helped me and it has pushed me to do better. But I feel like I need more days where I can just spend time doing my school work. If I really want to do better in school I need to take the initiative...
