"Prevention is key," says Han Tran every time someone procrastinates. Living outside of her home, Han attends UCI as a senior, majoring in biology. As a fourth-year at UCI, she is constantly studying and preparing for her future at a medical school to become an optometrist. Han stays persistent in her studies and shows that she is hard working with the grades that she receives by the end of each quarter. While also being very responsible and industrious with her studies, she is very openminded, creative and outgoing with the way she acts. In the medical sorority, Delta Epsilon Mu, Han, who is a part of the Zeta class, is in charge of public relations, meaning that she plans events and manages information from the organization to the general public. A factor to Han being voted in charge of public relations is not only being able to communicate to others, but also being kind and having respect for everyone around her. During a family summer vacation in Manhattan, Han was going to start her first quarter at UCI in one week. Although the rest of the family enjoyed their time in the iconic Big Apple, for one week, Han booked her own flight back home after only two days. To pursue further dreams and aspirations, Han sacrificed her pleasure and gratification in New York to prepare for her next quarter. However, in the two days that they were all together in the city, her active and amusing atmosphere distracted everyone that she would have to leave shortly. On her last day in New York, since her flight was in the morning, Han showed consideration by leaving a note without waking anyone up. Although she was not with her family, by using facetime and text messages, they sent pictures of where they went on each day.
