The memorandum will inform you of each team members’ tasks for completing the Talent Map/Learning Styles Analysis Power Point Presentation. Lastly it will tell you how the team came to this decision.

Primary and Secondary Roles
The team has four members and six roles. Each member has one primary role, one secondary role, and then the team collectively took on two roles. Brayden is primary team leader while team lead is Christopher’s secondary role. Gala and Christie alternate primary and secondary role of recorder and editor. Christopher is the team’s primary analyst with Brayden serving as the secondary analyst. All the members of the team contribute to managing and developing the project.

How Roles Were Chosen
Roles were chosen off of reading the strengths of each member and trying to best fill each one. Brayden’s primary role as team leader ties in with his signature theme of communication because it is needed to lead a team to success. His secondary role of analyst also ties into his communication theme because he will need it to give and receive information from his teammates. Gala’s primary role as recorder ties into her signature themes that fall in the executing category because she is committed to her team and ensuring all of their collaborations are documented punctually. Her secondary role as editor specifically ties into belief because what she lack in editing skills she make up for in a value system that strives to do better and give her best effort not only for herself but for the team. Christopher’s primary role is analyst and his analytical signature theme made him the best candidate for the position. His secondary role as a team leader is most influenced by my discipline theme because it enables him to have a rigid and definite plan that will surely get accomplished by assigning tasks or jobs to do. Christie’s primary role is editor; consistency is one of her signature themes that will help the team provide a meaningful project because people function to their best ability when there is consistency. Her secondary role is recorder; this is where the adaptability theme ties in because she can help the team in other areas when needed. She can be flexible to meet the needs of her team members as well as the project.

Team Members’ Tasks
First Christopher initiated communication amongst the team, and the team collaborated on how to get the ball rolling. Christie filled out the talent map. Brayden established the final roles chart. Gala gathered information from team member for the first assignment. For the analysis questions team members devised a plan to answer the question in a timely manner. Once they are answered Gala and Christie will record and edit the information with the teams help to finally have a power point presentation for submission.

Team’s Decision
The team collaborated to come up with a plan for an effective and productive execution. With different time zones, work schedules, and other commitments, communication was key to finding out each team members’ strengths and utilizing them accordingly.

Conclusion
The team virtually came together and shared information from what has been learned. The team discovered roles by utilizing strengths, talents, and skills. Tasks were established and currently being accomplished, more over the team is satisfied with the decisions made. Therefore, the bottom line is Team 1 has come up with team member roles and a strategy to successfully complete this team project.

The recommendations include underlying attention to: pricing strategies, non-pricing barriers, business cycles, macroeconomic conditions, credit markets and affected global conditions over the next five years from previous Milestone research. Description of Three Alternatives Economic Futures Business cycles are alternating rises and declines in the level of economic activity, sometimes over several years (McConnell, Brue & Flynn, 2009). (See Figure 1) Figure 1 The rising and descending of the economy is reflected below for the months between Jan 2006 and June 2010 (The National Bureau of Economic Research, 2010). ...Executive Memo To: IT Manager, Networking Manager, Administrative Assistant From: USER, Training Project Manager Date: August 10, 2013 Re: 2-Day Training – Post Mortem Review Objective This memo details the benefits and drawbacks of a postmortem review for the training class project.   All included within this memo should partake in the postmortem review meeting to discuss what the team’s hopes were during the project timeline and to discover any changes needed for future training class projects. Benefits of Postmortem Review The benefits of this review are to list the goals and outcome of the project, the actual budget versus the final costs incurred, and any stakeholder participation issues.   It is also helpful to document what worked and what did not throughout the project timeline.   Areas to review are morale, communications, and any cost components such as hardware, software, office space, people, time, and budget. This should also include project scope, requirements, conflict management, and deadlines. Drawbacks of Postmortem Review The drawbacks of this review is that it would be too late to correct any issues or errors that occurred during this project.   Considering that the training class project was on a smaller scale, there were very few milestones to help gauge the success of the entire project. Meeting There will be a meeting the following business day after the training class ends; August 5, 2013 at 9:00am in the main conference room within the...

...| Pearson Waters Inc. | Memo To: | IT Development Department | From: | Donald Foulk | cc: | | Date: | April 1, 2014 | Re: | Unethical Coding Practices | | | Ethical Violations Found During the final stage prior to submitting our application to the client it was discovered that some code, as well as a few of the artwork elements included in the project were utilized without proper permissions from online sources. This required a complete recode to entire portions of the project, as well as to redesign the artwork and visual components. This also required the immediate dismissal of the employees whom perpetrated the violations as is the consequence clearly laid out in the employee handbook which every employee is provided upon their employment. While the client is happy that we identified and resolved the situation prior to providing them with their contracted product, they are understandably less than satisfied due to the delays which this breach caused. Potential effects of this action to Pearson and Watters Inc. could be long lasting. Our very reputation is at stake in any such matter. Not only have we now failed to provide a client with their product in the timeframe which we stated, but that client cannot help but wonder about past and even future projects and whether or not other such breaches were caught. This further effects our company due to having to replace the offending employees rapidly, lost profits due to additional time required to be spent...

...I used to play soccer for a club, just for recreational purposes,in fact i was one of the cofounders of the team. The team we assembled was a mixture of young and old, and for this reason we were the laughing stock of the league, because all other teams were made up solely of young players, who were exceptionally talented. The team ended up on the wrong side of the score for the first few games we played, and got nicknamed the “whopping boys”. Eventually we grew tired of the nickname and of our performances on the field, and we decided to try and improve things, first thing we did was to elect a leader for the club. Even though i didnʼt want the job, i was voted into the position, and as the president it was my duty to represent my team when the league called for club meetings. At the time we were all students, so it was decided that we would all contribute towards any and all expenses, but unfortunately when you dealing with a blend of young and old, things donʼt always go according to plan, people constantly made up excuses for not showing up for practice, or for not contributing towards our equipment. Even though it wasnʼt my duty, i took it upon myself to ensure that every single player showed up for practice, i used to drive up to the houses of all those who didnʼt have any transportation. It was a tiring job, but i realized that if i wanted the team to be successful, i had to make certain sacrifices, some of which included taking money out of my own pocket...

The end product is patient satisfaction, provide a solution for the patient and to support that in practise. Leanne has come on in leaps and bounds since her early days in the department. She is confident, but finds it difficult to ask questions. However, she does manage talk about things in the appointment through her reflective reporting. This is something I may need to talk with her about when I have the final meeting with her. But I am not overly concerned at this moment in time. The 3 reflective reports that Leanne produces is of good quality, informative and reasonably accurate. It also highlights aspects of training she mentions that we both have undertaken together in the appointment, so I suppose she is reporting her own training and that of mine in her words, that I can use as evidence that can be signed off. Two Students Accounting Case

...the students are Bill and John. Bill believes that the completed -contract method is most like recognizing revenue at point of delivery because in the end the final product is delivered and has fulfilled any requirements to recognize revenue. John believes that percentage-of-completion is most like point of delivery and this allows a company to recognize revenue over time. I support Bill’s opinion that the completed-contract method is closest to recognizing revenue at point of delivery. The reason I support this is because while there is still construction taking place, as in the percentage-of-completion method, there still is no actual product being delivered. Along with no product being delivered, it is possible that the final product may never actually be made. If there’s a chance the end product not being made then there is no way to recognize revenue for that product. Using the completed contract method we hold off on recognizing any revenue until the final product is finished and delivered to the client. In my opinion completed contract fulfills the requirements of revenue recognition which are (1) the amount has to be realized / realizable and (2) the revenue must be earned. In completed contract at point of delivery the item can be considered earned now that it is completed and ownership has passed to the final customer. Percentage-of-completion does help serve large contracts that take years to complete so that a company can recognize some revenue every year. The problem...

Cougars on the Bay

...Utter chaos or sheer comical genius? The Eric Andre Show transcends what most people typically think of in terms of a variety show. This man has taken his talents as a comedian and created something that is truly unforgettable. The show on Wednesday, September 19 started with Eric Andre running out on stage throwing beer, sandwiches, what seemed to be chicken carcasses, and many other objects out into the crowd as he jumped off stage and began to run through the dense mass of people pushing, shoving, and simply making a riot amongst the observers. He disappeared and shortly after appeared back on stage fully naked running around the set. Things slowly settled down and it was time for his first guest, Russell Brandt. The crowd grew eager and when he finally came on stage, it was clear that it was in fact not he. Either that, or Russell Brandt changed his image to that of a malnourished Philadelphian homeless person. Once on stage “Brandt” sang a song, in what seemed to be English accompanied by a plastic guitar and a 2 liter bottle filled with some unknown foamy liquid that eventually also ended up in the crowd. His next two guests consisted of a local juggler and Freeway, who is a native rapper of North Philadelphia. It was clear that neither of the two were aware of what they were actually participating in. Right as the juggler was about to begin his performance, the lights dimmed and Doc Chicken emerged. This was nothing more than a rubber chicken with a stethoscope...

Conflict Scenorio

...One of the strategies we discussed to resolve the conflict was (1) Meet with the three employees to discuss their ideas, (2) Meet with Jan and Marc to understand why they are unable to come to an agreement or compromise, (3) As the manager direct each employee to develop and present their ideas about the ad to a management team. The first strategy we discussed was to have a meeting with Jan, Sally, and Marc to find out why and how we could help them come to a decision about the ad. Allow each employee to present what ideas they have for the ad. As the manager listen to the idea, explain to them your views on what makes a successful ad, and make any suggestions for improvement on the ideas, if needed. Feedback is welcome, but we have a deadline to meet. Ask each one of them what they can produce to help promote this ad. Also remind them that they have been successful in the past and we are sure you can work together to solve this conflict. It’s about compromising. The second strategy is meeting with Jan and Marc, since they were unable to compromise. Even though they worked very well together in the past and Sally tried to get them to come to an agreement they could not set their personal values aside. The manager needs to be the negotiator to guide employees to see others views. Compromise is the key to good negotiation. You need to be able to give in a little to get closer to what you want. Have Marc and Jan present their ideas for the ad, give feedback on...
