“What is your opinion about it?” mother asked for my answers after elaborating an accounting phenomenon. In the beginning, I would seek for suitable answers quickly, but in many instances, I cannot provide satisfactory answers in that it was beyond my comprehension at that time. Then, my mother, a senior auditor, expounded it clearly with in-depth accounting expertise. It can be said without exaggeration that mother is my idol. Through case-based learning, I got a general understanding of accounting and came to apprehend accounting plays indispensable and significant roles in corporations’ development. Offering actual accounting statements with effective verification systems could cut down corporations’ expenditures and prevent deceptive accounting behaviors in accounting market. Under such osmosis, I gradually cultivated basic perceptions of accounting and triggered me to dig more in accounting.
In undergraduate period, I decisively concentrated on accounting to elevate professional qualities via taking accounting courses. Principles of Accounting familiarized me with accounting rules, accounting cycles and financial accounting reports, which made me realize accounting serves as another magical language to analyze corporations from unique perspectives. Furthermore, Management Accounting afforded me a superb access to managerial strategies in authentic business world. And veritable case studies consolidated my understanding of accounting theory. Cases of QC crushing defeat illustrated the crucial importance of practical and scientific managerial strategies. Thus, the accounting study proceeded with confidence to march toward accounting journey and stimulated me to explore actual functions of accounting.
My resolution to probe deep into accounting has been further strengthened from the internship experience. In 2015 summer, I interned in ICBC Credit Suisse Asset

Alienware has a reputation of offering the latest technologies for desktops and laptops that are specialized for gaming, video editing and music editing. Alienware - History According to employees, the Alienware name was chosen because of the founders' fondness for the hit television series The X-Files, hence the theme to their products, with names such as Area 51 and MJ-12. Alienware was originally established to tap a niche in the high-performance game market, which then was not on the radar of the major manufacturers such as Dell. Rebuttal Article

...Rebuttal Article Jodi Eckert BCOM/275 November 14, 2011 Rebuttal Article I recently read an article from the Miami Herald about a Florida judge who overturned a death penalty hearing. I was never interested in law before but thanks to my son who is in training to be a police officer in the sheriff department has sparked my interest. This article is about a judge that has taken upon himself the role of telling juror that they should be the one to state whether a guilty person should get the death penalty or not. A U.S. District Judge has ordered that a case should go back to a new sentencing hearing and that the jury should make the decision on death or life in prison. You see Florida is one of the few states that allow juries to issue the death penalty, and the vote does not have to be unanimous, the majority vote is the decision on life or death. Trial judges in Florida have the authority to override jury recommendations on death penalty cases. It would appear that they rarely do according to the writer. His article points out that because of the judge overturning the jury verdict that their will be more appeals hitting the court system from others in prison for the death penalty hoping for new sentencing hearings. I completely agree that the jury should be the one to determine life in prison or death row, by reading this article it would appear that the author is not to keen on the judges decision either. If would appear that the Florida law is going...

Afl Miami

...this report is to provide the AFL Miami Private Investor Board with the information necessary for assessing the effectiveness and feasibility of this business venture. South Florida is an ideal location to begin a new AFL franchise. The reason for this is due to Florida’s powerful demand for sports, and football in particular. A relatively large percentage of Florida’s GDP is due to a stable sports industry that successfully weathered the recent economic recession. The geography of Florida helps create a loyal fan base with in the region any professional sports team operates. These fan bases are driven by intrastate rivalries, and the fans are not hesitant to pay to see their teams play. These fan bases for the AFL in Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tampa Bay have proven to strong enough to sustain the operations of the franchises. With the closest arena football team playing four to five hours away, this distance is more than enough to dissuade most South Florida natives from attending and supporting the AFL. However, bringing a team to Miami would increase their awareness of the sport and prove to be sustainable. A loyal, lucrative, and intrastate rivalry driven market is what will sustain an AFL Miami franchise. Additionally, the AFL adheres to a spring schedule so as to not compete for fans with other football leagues. In order to properly market this franchise an aggressive marketing campaign will be necessary. Given that Miami is the one of the most diverse regions...

The Objective Excercise

...have always held myself accountable for. My thought process doesn’t allow me to focus on current or past situations, but instead how I will evolve into the Man which I aspire to be. What time is it? 6:00 p.m. on September 4, 2013. Its possibly the best time of the year, football season. The weekends couldn’t get any better than this. A legitimate reason to keep myself indoors. As the sun begins to go down, I start to prep myself for my daily routine as I get ready to head out to the gym, no better way to cap off a long tiring day. Where am I? My home in Miami Gardens, FL, my fortress of solitude. Sitting in front of my TV, catching highlights and newscast from Sports Center and the NFL Network. Anytime now, I should find myself heading out the front door as I get ready to make my way to the gym. What surrounds me? Walls which should have been painted months ago. My high school diploma and my Associates Degree from Miami Dade, a constant reminder that there is still work to be done. I think I somewhat become infatuated and addicted to those things. Right under that, there’s a box of condoms which I keep next to my bed. Somehow, those things have saved me a lot of money and headaches over the years. What are the given circumstances? Well I just started up my own Personal Training Company. The last few months, I’ve been dealing with building the company, while also making time to focus on my Modeling career. Photo-shoots and clients seem to take up most of my free time. ...

What I Want to Be

...working student who’s kind’ve scatter brained but has so many ideas in my head and dreams to achieve. Where I want to go, I really want to possibly be in a different state or even downtown Miami. Somewhere where I can branch out a little more and be way more adventurous, without any holds (my parents). And where I want to be, in a few years from now I want to be in the entertainment business whether it’s maybe managing a celebrity, or writing for a fashion magazine or even being a correspondent on a television show that reports pop culture such as E!, MTV or VH1. Furthermore, where I am right now like I mentioned above I’m quite content. I work in retail, I own a car, I have a decent income, I’m still at home with my parents but I don’t depend on them so much. I have a social life, and a great group of friends and I’m in a happy time at age 21. Although, I wish I could of course be exceeding a little more that’s what school is for! And attending school is another thing that I’m happy with, because without it I’d probably be extremely bored at home and putting my brain to no good use. Continuing on, where I want to go I’d love to be downtown in a few years from now or even in California. And I say this because I’d love to branch out and tackle a different area. I’m so used to living in Miami Lakes, and it being very family orientated and a city where everybody knows everybody, and I’d enjoy moving elsewhere where everything is a bit bigger and there are variations of things...
