For this assignment I chose Clinique cosmetics as my company of interest. Clinique was founded in 1968, and is owned by Estee Lauder Corporation. Clinique is a well known, top of the line manufacturer of skin-care and many other beauty products. While conducting research I found Clinique's mission statement and it basically states that Clinique is constantly striving to be the top skin care manufacturer. How well does the company create value for its market segments? To answer this question sufficiently, we have to determine who exactly is Clinique's target market. Studies show that Clinique Cosmetic's target market is the professional female, generally over the age of 35. Clinique knows that and that is why they provide many different product lines that will please and meet many different individual beauty needs and concerns. They use the most technological research and development methods to provide products that are 100% allergy free, fragrance free, dermatologist approved, and never tested on animals. For example, Clinique offers a anti-gravity eye lift cream that will please all of its customers (not just the 35 year olds). A 35 year old female can use it to
