In the incredible movie Monster University by Dan Scanlon we see a little green monster come into the scare academy with full confidence in himself and his scaring abilities. It shows how you never should give up on a dream because if a little green guy can do it, you can. My first lesson that the movie shows is that you should never give up on your dream. Even though Mike is adorable he still strives to achieve his goal despite what everyone says “How do I become a scarer?”(Scanlon X:XX says Mike when he sneaks into the human world as a kid. Mike will do whatever he needs to do in order to follow his dream. Another lesson we see in the movie is how Sully the huge monster whose whole family are scarers didn't have to work to get good at scaring unlike Mike had to struggle and work and read every single book on scaring to get in the same place and even better than sully, this massive blue monster, who is a natural scarer. …show more content…
Sully on the other hand gets everything handed to him so he doesn't have to work for anything he even says “I didn't even bring a pencil on the first day of school!” (Scanlon X:XX) He thought that he didn't need to study just because his appearance is scary he's not nearly as good as Wazowski because he has strategy and knowledge. Later in the movie after arguing Mike and Sully became best friends although there difference make the perfect partnership. Sully the scary and Mike with the brains. The final life lesson from the tale is to stay focused. Mike was told he wasn't good enough to be a scarer but he stayed focused on what he wanted to achieve in life. He kept at it and eventually becomes a great scarer. Sully never gave any focus because he believed that he already had everything cut out for him to scare. Mike is a perfect role model, he will never give up on his dream, and encourages others to follow there
