To me, that time of the year falls during the December holidays, or rather, it starts during the last term of school. It may sound strange of me to include the period of examinations. But I like the way teachers leave us, students, by ourselves to do our own revision. There is hardly any homework to be done but there is a lot of studying to take up our time. The color of dead pine needles cover the living room carpet, the scent of a freshly baked goodies and pine fills the air as you open your front door. These are all parts of Christmas that make it such a unique and memorable holiday. Family is something that Christmas would not be the same without. Christmas is exponentially fun for me because I get to see all of my family and have a great time with them as well. Every year Uncle Ed would purchase an unknown amount of scratch off lottery tickets to give as gifts to me, my family and his friends. He always placed two of them in each envelope and handed them out to my dad, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, and step mom until he passed away. The best year by far for the lottery tickets was in 2004. It was the year that I won big! I had picked the best envelope ever, the Grand Daddy, as I like to call it. ...From the moment I arrive at Orlando Florida’s International Airport I am thrilled to be back to my favorite place in the world. A thirty-minute drive away is a place called the International Drive; this is where I stay during my time in Florida. Orlando's 14.5 mile long International Drive is a place I know only to well. Having been fortunate enough to stay on the International Drive several times I am aware of all of the great things it has to offer. It is a place that makes me feel such happiness whenever I visit, a place that holds fond memories and a place I will continue to visit for as long as I possibly can. The International Drive is always busy. The majority of people are tourists staying in the area. Many people uses this areas to stay as it is in the heart of Orlando and is ideally situated close to Walt Disney World Resorts and other theme parks such as Sea World and Busch Gardens. There is never a dull moment on the I-Drive. From the moment you leave the hotel you are surrounded by a great deal of things to see and do. Amongst these things are a fantastic water park, arcades, numerous adventure golf courses, museums, restaurants, dinner shows and so much more. I like New Year’s Eve because I always get travel to my hometown in Casablanca, Morocco for a week or two.
