Kawhi Leonard has quietly returned to first-round production after struggling out the gates and missing 17 games with a hand injury.

Leonard posted four-straight 20-plus point games for the first time all season this week and his usual defensive stats came along for the ride, too. Check out these lines:

March 8 vs. Chicago: 20 points (9-for-20 FG, 0-for-4 3P, 2-for-2 FT), 8 rebounds, 0 assists, 3 steals, 0 blocks, 0 turnovers, 39 minutes

March 6 vs. Denver: 25 points (10-for-17 FG, 1-for-5 3P, 4-for-4 FT), 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 3 blocks, 2 turnovers, 36 minutes

March 4 vs Sacramento: 21 points (9-for-11 FG, 2-for-4 3P, 1-for-4 FT), 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, 1 block, 1 turnover, 29 minutes

February 28 vs. Phoenix: 22 points (9-for-18 FG, 0-for-1 3P, 4-for-4 FT), 10 rebounds, 0 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks, 0 turnovers, 31 minutes

While these numbers may not look overly impressive, consider this. Of the 20 players averaging 20-plus points since February 28, Leonard leads in field goal percentage (56.1%), turnovers (0.8 per game), and is the only player to average both 2.5-plus steals and 1.5-plus blocks. This across-the-board production was key to the Spurs' 4-0 record over the span and pushed Leonard to 6th in Yahoo! Fantasy rankings over the last two weeks.

This increase in usage and health for Leonard has caused Danny Green's tremendous season to dip. He posted only 11.8 points, 2.5 3s, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.3 blocks over his last four games.

Leonard is surging at the perfect time for fantasy owners and the Spurs, who are making a push up the Western Conference standings. Don't look now, but the champs are just 3.5 games out of the third seed heading into Week 20.
