No More Home, now you’re On Your Own
These days, most young people are choosing to move out and live away from home. At some time in your life you will have to decide between staying at home with your parents like you have always done, or starting a new life on your own, that means it’s time to start being independent. Moving out will affect every detail of your life, right down to the foods you eat, and how much money you can spend. At the moment you want to make a choice between these two completely different ways of life, you should know that living at home and living on your own have some similarities, and they also some differences that you have to think about before making a decision. Every young person should realize that living on your own is a big step towards becoming a responsible adult. When living at home, and living away from home you have certain responsibilities to do in both places. If your decision was to live at home with your parents, you have to help with household chores like cleaning the house, and your room, and you have to do it well, because if you don’t you will have face the consequences. For example, if you have to wash the dishes and you don’t do it, you will just have more and more dishes to wash on the following days. As well, if you decided to move away from home you will also have household chores because no one will be there to do them for you, so you have to do them. Another similarity is that no matter if you are living in your home or away from it, the place where you are living is special and you feel something unique when you are there; This could be because you spend a lot of time in that place such as when you sleep, and eat there. Despite these similarities, living at home and living away from it has some differences that you have to know. The first difference is the freedom that you would have, but you tend to have more responsibilities than you think. It is obvious that if you live alone, you would have more freedom, you can make your own rules. For example you can decide what time to arrive home, and there will be no one who can get mad at you. Also, when you have important things to do, and it is impossible for you to get home, you can stay at a friend’s house without having any trouble. Another difference between living at home and living on your own it is making sure you have everything you need. When living at home with your parents or whoever you live with, you already have all the necessities that you will need for a place like furniture, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, and other things needed for hygiene. Other areas of difference between living at home and living away from home involve money and rent. Think about your finances; this is probably the biggest and the most common factor for students choosing to stay at home. The cost of living in a house or apartment maybe is just too much to handle for some young adults, as well as the cost of food and other expenses that you might not have to worry about as much in the home life. When you are at your parents´ house you don´t have to worry about saving big sums of money because the only things you have to spend your money on are the things you want because you don´t have to pay any rent or any other kind of expenses. In comparison, living away on your own you have to pay a rent and all kind of living expenses such as electricity, water, and all sorts of expenses for which you must to save a big sum of money to pay them. On the plus side all the money you are spending will be well worth it. You won’t have to deal with anyone asking questions when you want to go out, and have friends over. I’m a real music lover, most of the time I have my music blaring, and my mom is always yelling for me to turn it down. If you’re anything like me living on your own will be great because you won’t have to deal with that. The next difference which I think is the most important to me is the lack of food. I’m not the greatest cook in the world so if I were to move out right now I don’t know how I would manage to acquire a home cooked meal. Living on your own sounds fun, and I’m sure it definitely can be. There are both advantages and disadvantages to living at home and living on your own. Living and doing it all on your own really makes you appreciate, and sometimes miss, your years spent under your parents' roof. The new freedom comes with a greater responsibility as well. Living alone, you will be facing the combined wrath of the dirty dishes, the laundry, and all kinds of new bills to pay. While moving out on your own is a big step for most young people, it is also a learning experience that will help them to realize just what it takes to survive in the real world. Every young person should realize that living on your own is a big step towards becoming a responsible adult.

...What elements should be considered when buying a home? Does the age of the home make a difference in the price? What about the square feet of the home? Does having a house with more square feet mean that the price of the home will increase? Well my fiancé and I are looking to buy a home and have come to the conclusion of five factors that we think are the most important. Using statistics, we will narrow our search down from 108 homes to only a few homes. The first thing, we need to discuss is the dependent and independent variables. Since we are most concerned with the price of the home and how other factors affect it, we will use PRICE as the dependent variable. We have other factors that influence the price such as square feet (home size), number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, heat (gas forced or electric), style (ranch, two floor, or tri-level), garage, basement, fireplace, age of the home, and the school district which will be our independent variables. Out of these, we have decided to pay close attention to the square feet (home size of 1900 square feet or more), number of bathrooms (3 or more), heat (gas forced), basement, and the age of the home (less than or equal to 10 years). We chose these factors because we wanted to know what kind of relationship, if any, they have with the price of the home. To figure that out, we will be doing a series of tests to discuss the price difference for the independent variables. Then we will get the probability and confidence...

And when children become of age to go to school, many parents confuse to choose the right education for their kids. Nowadays there are two popular ways to gain an education; public school and Home school. Public school is school that build by government for their citizens, it is the most afordable for all kind of citizens. Besides that there is another way to gain education which is home school. Home schooling is not a new phenomenon, but a very old one. In Colonial days, families, including wealthy ones, educated their children at home, combining the efforts of parents, tutors, and older children (Hill,T,P, 2000). Home scholl usually built by private institution. The tuition fee is way more expensive than public school, because mostly home school provides private teacher for their students. The most popular is public school rather than home school. But those two options make many parents confuse to choose wich is better home schooling or public schooling. ...in-office peers, new research finds. While there has long been a perception that employees who work from home don't work as hard as those in an office, perceptions are shifting, according to a study from Dell and Intel. More than half of employees globally now believe that their peers who work from home are just as productive, or more productive, than those in the office. Remote employees also feel like they get more done from the comfort of their own home. Of those who spend any time working from home, half believe they are more productive there than in the office, while 36 percent think they are equally as productive in both locations. Just 14 percent of those surveyed believe they get less done when working from home. Bob O'Donnell, founder and chief analyst at TECHnalysis Research, told the study's authors that many employees today have better equipment and faster Internet connections in their homes than they do in their place of work. "So, we're seeing experiments where more people are working at home more often than they had before," O’Donnell said in the research. At-home employees cite a number of benefits to working outside the office. The study revealed that 30 percent sleep more, 40 percent drive less and 46 percent feel less stressed. [10 Big Companies That Will Let You Work From Home ] However, working from home does have some downsides. ...Spasojevich I have been faced with the decision of whether to purchase a new home or not. Making this decision has taken a lot of thought and planning. I had to look at the principals of economics, the marginal benefits and cost associated with my decision, and the economy. These are all factors that play a vital role in making a decision that I will be committed to for thirty years. One of the most difficult decisions that I had to consider was facing trade-offs. I had to ask myself what I am willing to give up to purchase this new home. I wanted to purchase a new home in a ritzy part of San Antonio but quickly realized that I could not afford to purchase a home in that area. So, I began looking in a nice middle class subdivision that was more affordable for me. I also had the desire to purchase a home with an in ground swimming pool. Unfortunately, this was not an option due to the community pool. I had to determine what was more important to me and I chose to change the geographical location that I wanted to live in and the swimming pool was not that important to me. I was not able to have a pool put in and live in the ritzy part of town, but I am able to have upgrades to my home and it is affordable. When my husband and I first looked at purchasing our home we had to look at our budget and see what we could afford and what we were willing to give up in order to purchase this new home. We had to cut back on going out to dinner three times a week to once a week...
