Which processor would I recommend for high- resolution in graph and videos why? Intel's quad i7 has just become purchasable to everyday consumers. For performance enthusiasts, the quad i7 is the best chip, and it will outlive all other current processors. The downside is that it is also the most expensive.
If a 1GHz processor is replaced by a 2 GHz processor do all programs execute twice as fast wel no because a The 2 GHz has a clock speed twice as fast as the 1 GHz. This ought to mean that programs will run twice as fast, but not all programs can use that speed, and the speed boost only applies to the calculation part of the program. The speed will be exactly the same for all input-output for instance when a game is fetching the data and textures for the next play that does not happen faster.

...My operating system is a Windows 7 Enterprise that was copyrighted in 2009. The Windows 7 Enterprise uses a 32-bit. The processor speed is 2.50 GHz. The amount of RAM is 4 GB with 3.17 GB usable. The computer was equipped with a Toshiba MK2561GSYN for the disk capacity. The disk space was 238474 MB. This vast bit of information was going to be the paper I presented to you. Not taking the time to figure out how this could eventually turn into a two to three page paper. Then I did a little more research of not only why these components are important to the computer, but also why it’s important to know how to find out the figures and why I was so blind to the fact I could do it on my own. As soon as I get to my laptop I notice a few things. The manufacture logo and two stickers place below the keyboard. At first glance, I believed that was supposed to tell you everything you needed to know about the computer performance. I was sadly mistaken after finding out about upgrades and replacement parts that a majority of “out of date” laptops go through in order to remain functional with the technology of today. Before studying chapter eight of our Computer Structure & Logic book all I could tell you about the laptop I’m currently typing on is that it is called a Dell Latitude and assuming all the parts were made by the Dell Corporation. You don’t have to rip apart a computer to find out more about it, it simply takes a few clicks of a mouse to figure the data. The Dell laptop I’m...

...Computer Structure and Logic Transistor Count 1917 To Present Gabriel Trotter June 19, 2015 In 2010 Intel was able to place two billion transistors on one chip. Intel called it Quad-Core Itanium Tukwila also known as 2G core. The number of transistors have significantly grown over the last Forty-three years. In 1971 there were only two thousand transistors and now in 2015 there are Seven billion transistors. So as you can see that’s an enormous jump in transistors. To me that’s a reasonable number of transistors and I think a lot of people would agree with that. If you take a look closely at the table above in the earlier years like 1971 to 1995 it looks like the growth of transistor were steady moving at a faster rate than in the later years like 1996-2015. Looks can be deceiving because if you look up “The Moore’s Law” it says that the number of transistors doubles every two years and to me that is surprisingly fast and amazing. I have a feeling that “The Moore’s Law” will continue to be used for the rest of time and if it does after doing some math my prediction would be that somewhere between 2022 to 2023 there would be one-hundred billion transistors on one chip. I even took a step further in to the future and with a little more math I predict that somewhere between 2030 to 2031 we could reach a total of one trillion transistor on one chip. If that goal is reach can you just imagine what computers could do or...

Nt1110 Unit 4 Assignment Video Summary

...Deborah Collins NT110 – Prof Whitehead Unit 4. Assignment Video 04/14/14 Motherboards come in several form-factors. When building a system, it is important to know what it will be used for before purchasing. Two of the most important parts need to be considered before the system is built – the CPU and the motherboard. There are several different types of CPUs and motherboards, so care should be taken that the CPU can be seated on the motherboard. Also, think about what the computer will be used for. General users will not need a top of the line system for browsing the web, email, social networking and word processing types applications, so a “bare-bones” type of computer may be a better selection. Systems used for gaming, video editing or high end graphics will need to have other considerations such as a higher end graphics card, more RAM and better than average cooling. Video 1.04: Motherboards: Most important considerations: Motherboard CPU Form Factor: ATX form factor motherboards Replaced the older AT form factor.
