Starter – Explain the different between simplex, half duplex and duplex communications

Simplex is a method of transferring data where the data can only go in one direction at a time. Half duplex is the other type of duplex in which data is only capable of being transmitted one at a time, but is able to transfer in two directions. Full Duplex is a method of transmission which the data can be transferred in two different directions at once.

What are the disadvantages of client side processing?

If the program only uses client side processing it makes it very easy for hackers to take control of the program and take advantage of it. Also, client side processing is not always the same making it very hard to program it to become compatible with every platform.

Server-side processing involves the use of scripts which reside and are run on another computer on the internet (the web server). Information is submitted to a server which processes it to provide results in the form of a web page. A good example of server-side processing is the submission of a search through a search engine. The search engine matches the word or phrase against an index of website content on the web server using scripts

5. What are the benefits of server side processing?
Some benefits of server side processing are that, your codes are safe and secure with you being the only person who has it, processing client side would become minimum and can be accessed through phones and other devices easily.
