Web server is a server that helps you to connect to the internet also it helps to deliver web content pages. Web servers also mange all websites.

A mail server is a server that passes e-mail over a network. A mail server also can receive incoming e-mails from local users. For example your local shop or our local charity shop.

A proxy server is computer that functions as connection between a web browser and the Internet that means that the proxy server is between your computer and any other internet. The other responsibility of a router is to forward packets from one network to another. This devices are generally used to communicate between two or more than two different networks.

c. Software: e.g.: browser, email
A web browser is a software used to access websites. Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are all examples of a web browsers.

Electronic mail is a service that allows those people who have an e-mail accounts to send and receive electronic messages. Electronic emails are easy to send and are much faster than postal letters such as the ones from Royal Mail and also emails are free to send and the other advantage is you can send them even midnight and the user will receive them within minutes normally.
