Porter's five forces analysis is a framework for the industry analysis and business strategy development. It uses concepts developed in Industrial Organization (IO) economics to derive five forces which determine the competitive intensity and therefore attractiveness of a market. This model for analyzing the different external competitive forces that effects an organisation and how information can be used to counter them. The five forces are: 1. Rivalry between existing competitors 2. Threats of new entrants 3. Threats of substitute 4. The power of buyers 5. The power of suppliers
Rivalry between existing competitors will determine the immediate competitive position of business and will depend principally on the number of firms already in the industries and the maturity of the industries

Moreover, it is shown that the degree of the pricing bias can be up to five percent of the Black-Scholes price.
