It is easy to create lots of data and then become disorganised very quickly. There are many different ways as to how data can be organised. You need to consider your other work colleagues who may need to find specific files at a later date, therefore it is important to decide on an effective way that works best for you and your team. To ensure your data is understood, you should try these different ways of organising data that are listed below:
 Name and organise your files. This allows you and others to have the ability to easily locate them.
 Organise e-mails. You should try to have different folders for specific projects and so on, by creating individual folders, this again allows easy access when it comes to finding the files and it shows you have capable organisational skills and helps to maintain the department in some ways.

Some companies will follow the procedure of numerical ordering where they will have a large amount of files stored in a type of numerical order, often starting with the smallest-largest number, however you should remember that this will vary from companies.
Data can be managed in many different ways. Some of the best and well known programmes that individuals and businesses will use are Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Excel and Access are two programmes of software which deal with tabular data efficiently and conveniently. Access is used as a system of storing data so that it is able to be retrieved later. Access is often set up so that employees are able to have access to it from different locations when needed.
