It shows what should be done if harassment or bullying takes place. The reason this behaviour could lower diversity and equality in work is because bullying and harassment can cause stress at work. The Fire Service can legally provide positive action for individuals in the Service that are part of the ‘ethnic minority’. I will also be discussing the difficulties that may arise when implementing anti-discriminatory practice There are many ways in which to promote anti-discriminatory practice that are effective and have minimal chance of failure, the first way is staff training.
