Next onto Hawaii on the LSP 5-20 for the Pacific operation and unloaded some supplies for the men there. Then they had to prepare for the bombing in Japan. Also for six mouths his crew were going on the Chinese and Russian front collecting everything that belonged to Japan because before the bombing the Japanese bombed China and Russia. Then there was peace declared. He was able to go home and he get married and then with a child on the way he was called back to Korea on the USS Doyle for more operations.
