THE PROBLEM

This study seeks to determine and analyze the predictors of the academic achievement of the Dean's List READS in the University of San Jose - Recoletos. Also, the study looks into the effects of the different challenges and motivations they experience in order to come up with an indigenous model.

Specifically, this study shall be directed with the following questions:
1. What is the profile of the READS scholar in terms of: 1.1 Gender 1.2 I.Q. score 1.3 Birth Order 1.4 Office assignment 1.5 Economic Status 1.6 Course?
2. What are the predictors that affect the academic achievement of the Dean’s Lister READS scholars? 2.1 Support system 2.1.1 Family 2.1.2 Significant others 2.2 Pressure 2.2.1 Parenting Styles 2.3 Economic Status 2.4 Self-efficacy 2.5

3. What are the challenges faced by the READS scholar in the workplace and their effects towards academic achievement? 3.1 Study time 3.2 Duty Schedule 3.3 E.Q. 3.4 Relationship with officemates and office heads 3.5 Office Assignment 3.6 Peer pressure 3.7 Fear of failure

4.
