HUBUNGAN PAPARAN GETARAN SELURUH TUBUH PADA TEMPAT DUDUK SOPIR DENGAN TINGKAT KELUHAN NYERI PUNGGUNG BAWAH PADA SOPIR TRUK DI PT ALN SIDOARJO
Muhammad Hudanul Hakim Departemen Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja, Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Airlangga One of the causes of Low Back Pain (LBP) is exposure whole body vibration(WBV). Truck drivers are at high risk of developing LBP. The objective of this study was to analyze the association between whole body vibration exposure and level of low back pain among truck drivers of PT ALN Sidoarjo. This was an observational study with cross sectional design. Data were collected by means of questionnaire for interviewing, measuring of vibration intensity and for observation truck. The research sample were 20 truck drivers rope drawn from the population by purposive sampling with criteria. Independents variables were age, duration of exposure, working hours per day, smoking habit, regular exercise, brand of truck, years of manufacture truck, and WBV. Dependent variable was LBP. The writer used the coefficient contingency (C) and correlation rank spearman(rs) to determine the strength of association between variables. The results showed that the majority of respondents age were 31-40 years (50%), duration of exposure were < 10 years(75%), did regular exercise (80%), had smoking habit (70%), brand of truck used Nissan CKA 12 BTX (85%), years of manufacture truck were 1997-1998(45%), all respondent were work >8 hours a day (100%), and measurements of WBV minimal were 0,6 m/s2 and maximal 5,4 m/s2. Mayority of WBV over constraint based on ISO 2631 using standard safety and health (95%). Whereas degree of LBP majority was medium(55%). Statistically, there was...
