There is controversy surrounding the state that the healthcare system is in the United States. Although the cost to be protected under a healthcare plan has steadily increased for decades, the Obama Administration passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

The purpose of Obamacare is to provide coverage for everyone, while simultaneously lowering the costs to make it affordable. It also allows for a broader number of benefits, rights, and protections while maintaining a high quality of standard. There are fours parts to Medicare, each providing difference services and needs which are parts A, B, C, and D. They also feature prescription drug coverage.
Aetna provides health plans, dental plans, student, international, Medicare, and Medicaid plans for individuals or employers. Although they are more flexible towards giving coverage to a younger generation that conforms to changes such as college graduation, marriage/divorce, loss of a spouse, or even the adoption of a child.
Anthem is an insurer that provides coverage for individuals and family, vision and dental plans, and Medicare. Those plans and coverage are not widely available and only apply to certain states.

The primary difference between an HMO plan and a PPO plan is the limitation of choice, or there lack of. With a HMO plan, a person is tied to a Primary Care Physician with a chosen facility that will provide all of the health care services a person needs, in the network. But with a PPO plan, a person has the flexibility to choose any healthcare professional in or out-of-network.
