How long have you used a computer?
I was three when my grandpa started working with me on windows programs.
What are the top three software applications you use frequently?
I mainly use word, power point, and movie maker are my top three programs I use.
Do you have a Home network? Did you set it up by yourself?
I don’t know for sure but my main network I use is google and I set that up as my home page.
Do you use a Smartphone? Have you downloaded the University of Phoenix app?
Yes I use a smartphone and I have had the app since I started school.
How many IT specific courses have you taken at any school?
I took two computer courses in high school. One was mandatory one was not. We worked with typing, excel, word, power point, Photoshop, illustrator, and outlook.
Do you have a close relative or friend in IT?
Yes my cousin Chris went to ITT for his degree. We both love computers.
When you come across a technology word you do not know, where do you go to find out what it means? I normally use google to search the words definition.
Are you currently or recently employed in an IT job? How long? In what functional area?
No I have never been a IT employee.
What IT position do you want in five years?
I would like to be a computer programmer making at least 50,000 a year.
What kind of things do you do to keep current on IT topics?
I look at web sites to see what new IT technology is out
