Planned Parenthood is losing federal funding because of cases dealing with legal safety standards, fraud, and the illegal selling of infant body parts.
Planned Parenthood in Texas has opted the easy way out, by simply closing down. It seems that closing down is much more convenient for this organization that is just so committed to “women’s health”. So committed in fact, that they allowed something as simple as their sterilization issues to shut them down. Instead of mitigating the problem by focusing their energy on cleaning the facility up and righting their wrongs, they abandoned the women in which they claim to care so much about. Planned Parenthood has vastly false advertised the services it provides and their motives as an organization. In Oregon and Iowa, a facility chose to shut down due to a lack of customers because Planned Parenthood doesn’t perform most of the procedures it claims it does. This includes breast health procedures, primary care, and parental care. In fact, it is only a level one breast cancer service center in most cases. This means that they can only provide a manual breast exam to patients, something that can be done by anyone. There are no biopsies, mammograms, or ultrasounds. “They phased out the parental care program a few years back, stating that pregnant patients were ‘too cumbersome’. Some clinics continue to tout that they provide this service just so they can continue to include it in their annual report.” It’s a common misconception that Planned Parenthood does more than it actually does. The use of terms like “women’s health” gains the false support of women, and generates a sense of fear for the future of actual women’s health. In 10 sickening videos, executives can be heard not only discussing, but joking about this horrid act. “The curtain has been pulled back on what goes on at Planned Parenthood. Being an abortion giant, this organization already has a large population of people fighting for the defunding of Planned Parenthood, and this scandal only exacerbated it all. These cringe-inducing videos include talk of harvesting brains, hearts, lungs and how much money will come from which part. It’s hard not to be disgusted by the way this matter was taken so lightly, it was even a laughable topic for them to speak about.
