Did we have a prefect life now? No, we don’t. We live in a glass world that can be broken anytime.
Did we feel happy now?
No, we don’t. Far deepest in our heart we are not happy no matter how hard we tried to deny it.
Did we have anything and everything we ever wanted ? No, we didn’t. Our birthday and chirstmas wishes has never ever end.
Did we made mistake and screw things up? Yes, we did.
We all made mistake in our past either it big or small, it doesn’t matter. The mistake we made is caused by our poor jugdement, emotion, pressure, ignorance or simply just stupid thought. People say that “time will heal everything”, but it so damn not true.
No matter how fast or slow the time passed by, we still feel the PAIN, the SORROW, the DEEPRESS, the ANGER, the HURT and the BETRAYAL. It haunted us every moment and everyday because it is a scar that can never be healed. All those pain and suffer, no one can ever understand. Some people say that they do understand what we feel, but the truth is they don’t. How can they understand when they have zero experience what we had been through. They never feel the same suffer we feel. They never understand.
We all want the same thing.
We all have the same thought.
We just want everything to STOP. JUST STOP !
Tired. Beaten. Exhausted. Stuffed. Yes, we feel it. No energy left to carried on.
Therefore, I beg you please just stop. Simply hit the STOP button.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Deep breath. Relax.
Are you relax now?
Stop thinking. Close your eyes. Breath slowly and relax.
Let me tell you a story about the girl who run away. Yes, the tittle up there.
This is a real story about a girl who now turn 23 years old. She came from a moderate family and live in a village near town. She just a regular girl. Nothing special about her except one. She is an expert in telling lies. That right, as far as she can remember she never told a truth. Everyone even her families, friends and not even her boyfriend are able to identify the truth and the lies. It is hard for people not to believe everything she said.
She thought lies is the only solution to get away her problem. To protect the one she loves, she lies more and it brings her happiness. The one thingd that she never realise is that it only hurt them more when they found out about the truth and that happiness she felt is fake.
However, lying already become part of her and it hard to break. So she keep lying. It became a disease that slowly ate her up. It’s hurt her inside out. No word can describe the suffer she felt. But she ignore it and continute to lying. Yes, the lying never stop.
You maybe wondering about the lies she told. Does it ever backfires at her?
The answer is no. She is really good at cover things up. She plan when she lies.
So, if she good at cover things up then what is the purpose of this story?
Simple, she not happy. All those year, she never felt happiness in her life, not even once.
Probably, now you thought that she deserve it since she lied to so many people.
Yes, she deserved it.
But I have one question for you; Have you ever told a lie?
How does it feel when you do that?
You did because you want to OR because there is no other choice left?
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Three years ago something big happen to her. She face the biggest failure in her life. It hits her out of no where and caught her totally of guard. She meet the disaster of her life. Its like a pay back to her for every thing she done. She blamed other people. She changed 360 degree. In past she only lied but now she even hurt people especially her love ones.
Regret for everything she done, she run away. She push people away from her life. She ran as far as she can from the reality. Everything she done keep haunting her. All those years, she only had one wish; that is to go back in time and amend for every lies she said and every wrong she made. Dreaming that if she wont lied maybe she wont be in this mess. She keep dreaming to reverse everything.
Until one day, she couldn’t take it anymore. The suffering, the pain, the guilt, the anger are build up inside her like a volcano. She had enough.
She are exhausted from running away.
She decided to hit the STOP button.
She decided to accept the biggest and the most painful truth that, there is no time machine exist in this world. There is no reverse gear and she could never ever delete the history in her life. What is done is done.
No matter how sorry she felt, she can never take it back.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
People see that she have a prefect family, a prefect boyfriend, an outstanding academic background and happy life she had. But, no one knows that everythings she had was build based on lies. The prefect life that everyone saw was made up by glass that been waiting to scatter and broken.
That girl who run away is me.
Yes, that’s me.
I ran away for almost 3 years now. I had lose everything and everyone I hold dearly. The biggest mistake I did is lied. That’s how powerful lie can be. It turns you into a selfish monster. For 23 years, I can’t remember when the last time I felt truly happy. It quite a long time ago. I am sorry for what I done. I want to start a new beginning and return back to the one who still waiting for me and never gave up on me.
A new chapter. A new leaf.

...It was a hard time for me to be only eight years old. I could see hardship around me but couldn’t do anything about it. The hardships plowed through us like we were made of tissue paper. No matter what I did and what reserves of strength I tried to draw upon, they weren't enough. I was not big enough. I was not fast enough. I was not good enough. I come from a joint system family that is typically common in Pakistan. My father has 3 brothers and 4 sisters and he is younger among the all. We were having a prefect life with my paternal grand-father, my parents, uncles and aunties. We all faced the death of our grandfather that effects on everyone at some instant. But my father didn’t imagine that his life would have been affected the most....

...Speech I believe the role of head girl is more than just a badge and a title. It means being a good leader and representative of the school, respecting your friends and peers, being trustworthy, and having pride in our school community. I’d meet the challenge of being head girl but I would approach it with enthusiasm and determination, an open mind and everyone’s best interest at heart. If I am elected as head girl I will make sure everyone feels comfortable and included and is doing the right thing, that preps and new students always feel welcome, I am willing to be open to listen to people's ideas and opinions, and that the school grounds are always clean and tidy. Even if all these things mean giving up my lunch times and recesses, I am willing to dedicate my extra time that I have into being school captain and to the responsibilities that come with this honourable title. Now, I have to admit that I don’t know everything, and I also know I’m not the smartest, sportiest or the tallest candidate for the job but I will promise you this, if you vote for me elected, I will put everything I can in to the role of school captain, because being a leader would not only be a huge honour but it would be my biggest pleasure. I will do whatever is needed to help our school and the people inside it, I am overflowing with ideas and ways to make our school a better place. This role demands time, effort, organisation and confidence as well as dedication. I cannot think of anything...

...10th March, 2016. MR WILSON STUDENT LEADERS/YEAR 13 PREFECT POSITIONS Dear Mr Wilson, I am writing this letter in application for the position of Year 13 Prefect. This position is a vital part of the school system and acts as a helping hand to the school and its students. This role is a leading demonstration of the school’s abilities and I feel that I am ready to take on such responsibilities. Having addressed fairly large crowds, I am now a clearer and more confident communicator. This will not only help me manage large groups of people but also help me in carrying out requests to improve the school community. One key element of this position is to assist the staff in running the school smoothly, however there is more to the position. A prefect is looked up to by younger pupils and is there to set an example for others to follow. In the 3 years that I have been at St Christopher’s School, I have seen past prefects carry out their duties and as a younger pupil then, I admired how much effort they put into these duties, thus making me learn from them. I will therefore utilise what I have learnt to become a successful prefect. Helping students’ progress through school is possibly the most important feature of a prefect’s duty. Volunteering to work with younger pupils in my previous school not just academically but also socially has given me an insight into this vital role. Assisting whoever is in need, whether they're troubled by academic or personal problems is essential...

A Leap of Faith

...wedding a couple weekends ago that in my sense of adventure you trusted me in any situation, from snowshoeing a mountain and sledding down, to standing below me while I‘m chain sawing 80ft up above you. I have to tell you how I got started and became the guy you share these crazy adventures with. Skydiving one time has changed my perspective on life to be sure. Just starting out in a new job and trying to figure out what life was about and where I was headed. I decided it was time to mix things up, do something I didn’t think I had the guts to actually do. Go jump from a perfectly good plane attached to someone I didn’t know, that is an “expert“ in the area of falling from great heights (more than once!) . I had been in a plane only two or three times sight seeing, without the urge to open the door no less. The sky is a cold, crisp aqua marine with thin wispy clouds. The walls are a cold steel grey. Rivets hold everything together. A faded tan leather seat, cracked from years speed, pitch, heading and Altitude. A small window on my right side above my head provides the only meager view on the ascent to a totally new view on life. It’s dark behind me where the Instructor waits patiently for the call to go. There’s a small poster on the sliding door that says “Humpty Dumpty was pushed” with a picture of him falling (the irony of which, will hit me in a moment). The wind is leaping in and out of the plane as we speed toward our goal of 10,000ft. The man kneeling in front...

The Story of an Hour

...underlying message is that women are just as humans as men and they have the same yearning desire for freedom as the men in their life (Chopin, 1894). The story of Mrs. Mallard Louise Mallard is the major character of the story. She is represented as a fair and calm woman along with little indication of being strong. She was suffering from heart disease and that is why the death of her husband was disclosed to her after much hesitation. Her character envelops a mixture of happiness and grievance. It can clearly be observed when she got the news of her husband’s death. Despite of going into shock, she dramatically cried hard for a time (Jamil, 2009). Owing to the fact that she had a heart trouble, she must had went into shock, however, she was calm and started considering the new opportunities her life may pose her. She welcomed some mysterious things appearing to her from the sky and her actions show that she was feeling immense independence after her husband’s death. She was overjoyed with the fact that she could lead her life without any domination (Seyler, 2009). At start, the weaker side of her character was portrayed, whereas, in room alone she was stronger and her heart was full of energy knowing the fact that she was free. Everyman

...Research Paper (Everyman) 3-8-2013 Mikeal Anderson Everyman is a metaphorical play that illustrates the value of life and death. Everyman was written by an anonymous author, but many believe that it was a priest or monk who would normally write morality plays. Everyman is a character that is supposed to represent your everyday human. In the story God decides that Everyman has become obsessed with wealth and other materialistic things. Resulting in Him teaching Everyman a lesson which is death. Death can be treated and perceived differently in many societies due to religious and moral beliefs. In the story, the author sees death as just important as life. The message that can be taken from this story is that death does not care who you are. It is impossible for anyone to escape death. The author sees death as a man’s final stand, in which there is no return. No man knows when death will come aside from God, so no man can prepare for it. The characters that the author use are to represent realistic characteristics that a lot people have and lose throughout their lives. Good deeds, knowledge, discretion, strength, Everyman’s five wits and beauty. The story begins with Death approaching Everyman to let him know that his life is coming to an end. In response, Everyman tries to bribe Death by giving him a thousand pounds but he declines by saying if he wanted wealth all wealth could be his. ...When it comes to matters of thermodynamics, which is the study of energy and it’s transformations, there are two laws that apply to everything in the universe. These laws, known as the 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics, describe the flow of energy throughout an ecosystem, and also how the process of transferring energy provides the means to sustain life within it. The rainforest is a very complex ecosystem that contains many different species of animals, insects, plants, and trees. The 1st law states that an organism can not create the energy it needs to survive on it’s own and therefore must capture it from it’s surrounding environment, i.e., photosynthesis. During this process, solar energy from the sun absorbs into the plant and vegetation population, converting the chemical energy into sugar. Insects and animals in turn eat the plants, and then use that very same sugar as an energy source to power their movement. This is called biological work. The energy remaining is given off as heat and released back into the environment from which it originated. This ensures that the amount of energy present in the environment is always the same, as it is borrowed and returned, but never lost. The 2nd law simply states that the amount of energy that can be used to do biological work within the universe may decrease over time, however because it is both borrowed and returned, the total amount of energy present will not decrease, and therefore will always be the same. The rainforest...

Cold Nightsky

...01/10/2012-2nd paper Cold Nightsky I think of death as a transcendence to another state of being, that even after death I will keep on existing. At least I hope and live my life as such, since I love living, therefore I must keep on existing.. I must admit that I don’t think I would be in a healthy mental state to write this paper, if I really had pondered about the thought of death as an ending. I believe one would think of death in a real sense, either when they end up in a position of losing their health, or having a disease which is likely to make them feel death is near. Plato’s quote “the distraction of body on soul ” in this case would influence one to ask himself more serious questions and find real answers , instead of the ones he would ask himself, in his comfortzone of body and soul in harmony. Dying and being transformed into something else as particles in soil or whatever form that might take, is inevitable. Our physical existence will definitely become something else but our soul, will be separated from it, finally “splitting itself from the body” as Socrates interprets. From that moment on, our soul will no longer be disturbed by other effects such as time, and this state would be “all that a philosopher (a mortal) would ask for” he adds. But how is it that the soul lives on when the body dies? I can think and philosophize about things and happenings I have acquaintance with , how is it possible that the soul can keep thinking in a form without the...

...would have been forever lost, the glamor of its poetry never felt even in vague suggestions, and the delicate melodies never perceived. As a friend suggested to me when grief was most oppresive: "You shall always remember her as a child." How beautiful I felt it was! For nothing but poetry could give such a feeling. In such a moment, reason would have destroyed me with consummate triumph; for if I had tried to explain why God had snatched away from me the thing I loved best in life, I would have allowed reason to rob me of sorrow to show me the way to a more beautiful, more full, and nearly perfect life. Sonia shall always live in my memory as a child who wonders why the stars shine in the sky and the rain drops from heaven and the grass grows on the wayside; as a child who finds all things pure and true in her innocent eyes. I shall look in those eyes and see so much confidence and faith when I feel that I am losing my own faith and confidence. I shall draw from my memory of her a child's enthusiasm for life when my heart is heavy and my eyes are dim with age. This is my ideal;...
