Introduction
Unit 121 has a military flag football team here at Yongsan-Garrison located in Seoul South Korea. This is part of a base flag football team that maintains scores and a fairly accurate account of schedules, wins and losses. The football league is made up of several units throughout the military installation and neighboring bases and players mostly volunteer. Although all units do not have a team the ones that were able to organize a team comprised 16 individual teams.
Problem
The teams are cleared to have uniforms purchased at their own expense but other equipment is supplied from military recreation and its equipment manager. This equipment includes balls, field markings, scoreboard, flags and uniforms for teams that aren’t equipped. Military recreation also supplies the referees and other miscellaneous items used for game play. The equipment manager is accountable for supplying the equipment as well as scheduling and keeping tally of the wins and losses of the teams. Yearly equipment is lost, damaged or missing of some sort and new equipment must be ordered to satisfy demand. This means ordering from several locations to find the best price as well as supplies for the military.
Ordering equipment from various sources means equipment does not always reach military recreation on-time. There has been an instance where equipment was not readily available for players and the referees would have to allow certain informalities to occur like players playing with no flags or wrong jerseys. Ordering of equipment needs to be in-order so players can practice as well as play games correctly. A solution to this problem is to find a vendor that supplies all the equipment needed for play. This vendor should be local, carry all equipment needed and deliver in a timely manner.
Solution
By creating a modular program the new equipment manager will be able to have a database of every player and team. Using the database the equipment manager can send an exact list of items needed for the season prior to it starting directly to the vendor for ordering.
The Programming Development Life Cycle (PDLC) will be the conductor to generating the program. It will be as follows:
Analyze requirements
Design the program
Program code
Document and test the system
Operate and maintain the system
Utilizing the modular program created the programmers will be able to interchange parts of the program as updated code is needed. This will allow for changes as the league changes each year with different equipment. The modular program will also allow for troubleshooting if problems arise with the program.
Conclusion
Putting this modular program in place the current equipment manager as well as users of the program can easily order and receive equipment prior to the season beginning.

Building Church Memberships

...Pastor Collins: I am submitting the attached proposal for consideration by you, the First Lady, and the members of New Hope Christian Fellowship Ministries. This proposal identifies the problems of declining membership at your church as well as possible solutions. I have been a member of New Hope Christian Fellowship Ministries for over seven years and have watched the revolving door of members for that time. In the last eight months, I have observed many members leaving and attendance declining but unlike in the past, new members are not coming into the ministry. As a result of the declining membership and attendance numbers, the ministry is also experiencing low donations and the ministry is struggling to pay its bills. During the last few months, the significantly low donations have begun to threaten the future of New Hope. This proposal will address the problems that I have mentioned; it will also offer solutions that have the potential to provide significant relief to your ministry. Your ministry has been serving the Cobb County, Georgia area for over 20 years and my objective is to create avenues that will keep this ministry thriving for many years to come. Please review the materials that I have included for your edification. The various parts include an abstract, which is a summary of the full report that is also contained. The feasibility study is also included and will show the different proposed solutions, and the criteria I used to choose those...

...English Comp 111 15 February 2015 Finding a Solution to Poverty Are we doing enough to eliminate poverty and help the poor? How are people still starving with all of the sources we have as a country? Poverty exists for many reasons including: lack of education, unemployment, housing, and money. There are no overnight solutions to this world wide epidemic, but some of our leaders are just as much to blame by turning their heads rather than finding the solutions. According to statistics one out of eight individuals suffers from malnutrition. This means that out of 7 billion people in the world, 870 million are still underfed. In Jonathan Swift’s “Modern Proposal” essay, he snubs the Irish and English rulers for their economic policies concerning the poor. Swift explains that they are not dealing with the issue of poverty in Ireland by refusing to create a solution. Citizens and those in power need to create lasting solutions to end poverty in our nation. Jonathan Swift essay, “Modern Proposal” presents solutions to keep poor children from being a burden to their families. The English government turned their heads to the deplorable economic conditions in which the people were living in and he hated the inhumanity that he witnessed. Ireland was in dire poverty and most of the victims were women and children that were beggars (630-631). So Swift devised a number of proposal and solutions to rid Ireland of this problem. Swifts argues that poor children would be better off being...

...Grant Proposals Desarae Minges HSM/270 September 27th, 2015 Tammy Wehrman Grant Proposals There are numerous attributes to a grant proposal. Some of those attributes are that the proposal should be formal, polite, well planned, and organized. There should always be a summary of the organization included, as well as a detailed description of the program or service that the previously mentioned organization is proposing to offer. In order to achieve a successful grant proposal, the agency needs to include the locale, target population within the stated geographic area, and state the issue that the program is designed to address, being sure to include any finding that corroborate the stated problem. Brevard                                                         August 29th, 2015                              HSM/270- Program Planning and Grant Proposals                                                       Instructor Amy Tardy            Program planning is an organized process through which a set of coordinated activities or interventions is developed to address and facilitate change in some or all of the identified problems (Yuen/Terao, 2003). A grant proposal is a formal written request submitted to a government or civilian entity that outlines a proposed project and shows budgetary requirements and request monetary assistance in the form of a grant (Entrepreneur.com, 2012).           Program planning and grant proposals have a few similarities between them. They both involve logical thinking. In both program planning and grant proposals, an assessment to evaluate the needs and the abilities of the consumer has to be taken in order to set goals that are conceivable in the allotted time for progress. In program planning and grant proposals costs has to be a part of the logical thinking process. Both, program planning and grant proposals are objective-driven. The objective of the grant proposal is to gain funding to provide services to consumers so they are able to obtain their goals. Developing a Training Process

...Developing a Training Process This problem is asking for two things. One is to design a training solution and the second is to present it as a proposal. A proposal implies that someone in the organization needs to be convinced that your training solution will meet the needs of the organization. Here are some steps to take when working on this solution. I: Clearly define the problem Before creating a training plan, you must clearing define the problem. Here are some issues to consider: • Since the company does not have a written training plan, it is possible that they also do not have a written job description for the various positions in the company. They have failed to identify the real needs of the organization that they want their new employee to solve. A company's goals need to translate into job tasks or descriptions for its employees if those goals are to be achieved. • The haphazard nature of the current training structure is not an effective use of the company's human resources. For example, consider the situation that occurs when the exiting employee is already gone before the new employee arrives. Unless the new employee is a gifted self-starter able to identify the company's real needs, it is highly likely that some essential job duties may never be taught to that new employee. One employee's method of "filling in" is probably different from another employee's method. Will the newly trained individual meet the real needs of the organization? Poorly trained employees...

Planning Proposal

...Planning Proposal Introduction to Technical Writing Compose a minimum 3 page planning proposal that solves a problem, improves a situation, or satisfies a need in your school, job or community. Write towards a specific audience (aside from the instructor); use the audience and use profile from the textbook if you need help defining that audience. Be sure to explicitly include the six key elements of a proposal from our class discussion. 1. Define the problem or issue. 2. Discuss a realistic and cost-effective solution. 3. Discuss the benefits of implementing this solution. 4. Anticipate any objections to this solution. 5. Describe your ability to carry out the given solution 6. Include a direct call to action Remember that the primary focus of a proposal is to persuade an audience, rather than to simply inform. This will require more effort rhetorically. Provide detail when describing how the proposed solution will be implemented. Therefore, you may need to include a lengthy description of a process. Emphasize specific data when describing the benefits and costs of the proposal. You may include any necessary visuals (remember to not use visuals simply to decorate), and necessary research (cite 2 sources MLA). Finally, also employ efficient page design elements to help guide the user through the document. Sample Topics • Creating a new business or expanding a current business • Saving labor, materials or money on the job • Making...
