Proposing to the Physician Partners to Reorganize Staff and Hire Three New Positions

Through health care practice, the hospital is able to offer health services to the immediate community. However, the main problem is the disorganization among the staff members. The other major issue is excess workload for the staff. The hospital requires immediate action to be taken so that health care practice and service are adequate and efficient. As the operations manager, I propose reorganization of the staff and hiring of three new positions to help solve this problem.
Generally, contemporary hospitals refer to community resources. Such resources get organized in a manner that they provide patients with care, as well as improving the population’s health. The hospital can only perform these functions by bringing together a wide range of skills through a diverse and adequate workforce. In addition, this entails collecting and storing information, providing facilities and equipment, as well as organizing systems of work. Consequently, the work done by community volunteers, medical and paid staff and trustees cannot be underestimated (Lee, 2011).
This proposal is not something. This is because research indicates that different organizations do experience shortages. However, the shortage of health practitioners has over the time received huge public attention. Nevertheless, hospitals have few technicians, pharmacists, housekeepers, therapists, food service workers, medical record coders, information service specialists and technologies. It is evident that the shortages and disorganization that the hospital experiences are genuine; thus, urgent action to be taken (Lee, 2011).
As the operations manager, I recommend the hiring of three new positions to take care of the extra work load. This extra workforce will play a key role in helping relief the work done by other staff members who keep complaining of extraneous work. On the other hand, there are staff members who have hinted that they can easily quit their job. This is because the hospital has failed to address their complaints. However, the workforce indicates that their output will be more when the hospital addresses their needs. This situation is urgent because the hospital can afford to lose patients because of insufficient staff (Lee, 2011).
It is vital to note that Health systems and hospitals have for a long time been experiencing temporary shortages with regard to personnel. This shortage can also be explained by the booming economy in the recent past, which is characterized by low unemployment. There are employers who offer high salaries and other new benefits when recruiting workers. As a result, this makes hospitals to consider the need to provide competitive compensation during this period of constrained resources. This implies that, even as the hospital seeks to absorb new staff, there is also a need to re-plan its remuneration and motivation strategies (Lee, 2011).
In conclusion, the practice of reorganization and hiring new personnel is extremely beneficial. This is because it can go a long way towards developing the hospital workforce. As a result, there will be many returns if there is proper organization of the staff. The hospital needs to have the roles and responsibilities of its personnel well defined and elaborated. Shortage of medical practitioners is a serious problem. It can lead to loss of many lives if immediate action is not undertaken. In addition, lack of organization implies that the workload is not equally and fairly distributed among the workers. Consequently, it is my desire that the hospital embarks on critical reorganization of the staff and hiring of three new positions for effective delivery of services.

Part 2 Persuasive writing is an argument or creative writing. This is where the writer employs words so that they can convince readers about the writer’s view being correct in relation to a particular issue. In this proposal, I used persuasive writing so that I would persuade physician partners to perform a certain action of reorganizing the staff. The major objective was to come up with three new positions. In addition, I included arguments, which would help the physician partners concur with my proposal (Clifford, 2007).
This persuasive proposal had two main objectives. The first objective was to convince the physician partners to accept my point of view. The second objective was to reorganize the staff and hire three new positions. On the other hand, in this proposal, I employed a persuasive technique known as an appeal to ethos. This technique aims at appealing to credibility that makes claims made by writers believable. In addition, this technique helps to build on the ethos through writing with clarity. In most cases, it is very crucial for this type of persuasion. Furthermore, it also included elimination of any contradictions in the text itself (Pierce, 2005).
In this style, the writer becomes more appealing to the audience. This occurs by ensuring that the subject matter does not have internal errors with regard to mechanics and syntax. In addition, the subject matter lacks factual errors. Moreover, I supported by argument with examples that would make my claims be quite appealing to the audience.
In the proposal, I included an appeal to logic by using the appeal that is referred to as logos. This appeal entailed the use of several supporting statements to provide a reason for my argument. This method or persuasion appeals to the audience by triggering their element of rational thinking. The method required use of several reasons to support my argument; thus, making the audience accept my proposal. Actually, the proposal had to be very persuasive. This prompted me to combine the three appeals in order to win my audience. Moreover, the proposal used another appeal of pathos or emotions. This technique involved creating a suitable mood that triggers the emotions of the audience in relation to the subject matter. In the proposal, I gave an outcome of more patients dying if urgent action is not taken. This scenario is instrumental in creating a sympathetic emotion (Miner & Miner, 2005).
Generally, the proposal began with an introduction that explained the problem being addressed. The explanation entailed the huge workload that staff members experience in the health practice. I concluded the introduction by stating my position with regard to the issue. In the main body, there are arguments, supported with evidence and reasons, reveal the need for reorganization of staff and hiring of three new positions. Finally, the conclusion redefines the topic and summarizes the proposal through restating the most convincing evidence of the argument. The proposal is structured in a manner that the sequence of remains preserved, and the audience is reminded of my position. In fact, the proposal ends with a summary of the main points and restatement of the thesis to reinforce my argument and persuade the audience.
