Restate the question as a research hypothesis and a null hypothesis. This is where an individual would make a research hypothesis, which is basically a prediction intended to be tested in a research study. This prediction is usually based on the researcher’s theory. A null hypothesis is the opposite of the research hypothesis. If the null hypothesis is found to be true then it is not possible for the research hypothesis to be relevant. Same goes for if the research hypothesis is true then the null hypothesis is unable to be relevant as well. Determine the characteristics of the comparison distribution. In the hypothesis testing process you want to find out the probability that you could have a sample score as extreme as what you got if your sample was from a population with a distribution of the sort you would have if the null hypothesis were true. That is in the hypothesis testing process, you compare the actual samples score to this comparison distribution. ...As we begin this project we start with simply placing the four pedals in the correct order onto the pedal board. The placements of these pedals are critical. If we place them in the wrong spot the pedals will not have their full sound potential. The first pedal that must be placed is the Noise Reduction pedal. This pedal muffles unwanted feedback and humming that would initially come from our amp when we have the sound cranked up for live performances. The pedal placement for this pedal is very important because the pedal can also reduce the sound quality of our other pedals if we do not place them in the correct order. The Boss NS-2 is a wonderful pedal choice for the noise reduction pedal because it has a Send/Receive input so that the effect pedals that follow the noise reduction pedal are not affected by the NS-2 noise suppressor. Once this pedal is placed we then need to place our remaining pedals to the left of it on our pedal board. In order from left to right we shall have the noise reduction, distortion, delay and then finally the chorus pedals. Next we will be using our Velcro to ensure that our pedals stay on the board while we play. To do this we need to take our Velcro and line it up with the bottom of our pedals to get a measurement of how long the strips need to be. Then we will take the scissors and carefully cut the Velcro to cover the bottom of our pedals. We then need to place the Velcro on the pedal board so that we may place the pedals on it.
