Martin Seligman stated in his learned optimism theory that optimists use adaptive methods to help them through adversities and daily events and stressors (Snyder, Lopez, & Pedrotti, 2011). This project will seek to promote learned optimism through conducting a mini-experiment of Albert Ellis’ ABCDE model. I.
