EVENT LOCATION ___UN Hall Conference Center _______________
EVENT DATE____Sept. 26, 2013 6-8pm

1. What did you think was the educational purpose or objective of this event/activity?

The purpose of the event I think was to learn and understand more about Italian architecture.

2. How did you react to the event? What (if anything) did you learn from it? Did it have an impact on you in any way?

I learned about the Four Projects that were being built by Renzo Piano and learned more on how architecture works.

3. Was the event well attended? How would you characterize the reaction of others who attended the event?

There could have been more people because there were still some empty chairs in the audience. Many of the people didn’t look too interested. Even my Art History professor looked bored.

4. Would you recommend that this event or presentation be conducted on campus next year? If yes, why? If no, why not?

I would recommend this event next year if they made the presentations more interesting.

5. Additional Comments? Insights? Recommendations?

I wish there were different people that were presenting, because they didn’t sound clear and enthusiastic.

"From the moment a customer walks through the door, we want to get them through in 3 minutes," a longtime Starbucks manager tells us. "Or 3-5 minutes if it's busy." This statement represents that Starbucks is oriented towards efficiency. 2) The store claims to serve 87,000 different drink combinations, all of which a barista can make without hesitation. Baristas manage complex orders with the innovative Starbucks shorthand, or Beverage ID Code, which is written in marker on every cup. For example, a Double Chocolate Chip Light Frappuccino is DCCFL. Giving its clients variety of choice, Starbucks adds innovation to the coffe culture. 3) Starbucks baristas undergo over 30 hours of training on everything from Frappuccino technique to the origins of coffee beans. 4) Most stores have upgraded to the Swiss-made Mastrena, designed to make "the highest-quality, consistent shot of espresso that will be second to none". 5) Baristas who work at least 20 hours/week are eligible for health insurance. This could have something to do with the famously cheery demeanor of "partners". Of course this isn't cheap. In 2009 health...

...HERRITAGE Assessment NRS-429V-O102 March 23, 2014 HERRITAGE Assessment A heritage assessment tool “performs a heritage assessment depending on how deeply the person identify and answers the questions and is helpful in setting the stage for understanding the health traditions of the person” (I don’t know where you got this quote from you didn’t cite it). This is essential in the treatment of a client because cultural traditions can greatly affect how and what a person think is healthy and “culture may have an impact on people’s…wellness belief systems, perceived cause of illness and disease…influence on the delivery of health care services by the providers. When an individual has been immersed in a particular culture and has been taught varying things in regards to hygiene and health, it can become difficult for health care providers to apply the proper treatment if the patient and their family are unfamiliar with it or rejects it due to traditions, culture, and/or religion. Three families from different cultural backgrounds have been interviewed for in relation to the heritage assessment tool. For maintaining health, for example, the Chinese has always believed in dressing appropriately for the weather, in particular in the winter the feet must be warm because there is a saying that illness starts from the feet up. And in the summer, no matter how hot it is, always cover the stomach when sleeping because the cold air from the A/C can cause stomach pain and diarrhea...
