Greetings,

I am Rea Ahuja and I have the capability to become a successful page in the Ontario page program. I am responsible, mature, independent and committed individual. Additionally, I am a royal air cadet, a rep badminton player and a classical dancer.

Through air cadets I gain leadership skills, time management and maturity. In air cadets we learn about leadership in a classroom and in a society. Additionally, a experienced and a knowledgeable cadet comes, and teaches recruiting/young cadets about leadership. A few main leadership skills that are taught within the classrooms are intivitave, delegation, communication skills and responsibility. In addition, these skills help in daily life. Through the years of going to tournaments and classes, I have gained the skills of commitment/determination, time management and teamwork. Moreover, in the past I have lost many tournaments, although, I have never gave up and I made it my goal to win gold in my next one. For example, I have lost a countless number of tournaments and won a certain amount. After all the tournaments I have lost, I had not given up and now I am on the road to success. Furthermore, as school work increases, practice from my tournaments that I am competing at does too. I have to manage my time effectively to be able to be successful in school and in badminton. For example, once a month on certain day, in school I have 3 unit test sometimes on the same day as my tournament. I have to plan how I will work things out in both to be able to succeed. Additionally, I compete with a partner in badminton. We have to work together to accomplish our goal. This builds teamwork. For example, to win tournaments we have to plan together and cooperate to be
