Pro choice being the woman’s right to decide abortion as an alternative to pregnancy. After reading the article “Pro-Life vs Pro-Choice: Annihilating the Abortion Argument” by Hank Hanegraaff, in which uses the acronym (A-B-O-R-T-I-O-N) to discuss the reasons why abortion should not be legal. I will provide a rebuttal to this article as to why I do not agree with these views and I will discuss how pro-choice is a necessary option for all women. In Hank Hanegraaff’s article he discusses his views on pro life. He goes on to state his reasons why pro –life is much more important than pro-choice. He states that pro-choice advocates attack people rather than issues facing abortion and pro-life advocates. ...Debate The technique of persuasive argument is a skill that you must acquire in order to participate in a successful debate. The art of being eloquent, choosing your words wisely, and being able to think on your feet, encompasses many of the components that any debater should be able to handle. In our first debate last week, we got off to a bit of an awkward, slow start. A few of us were confused on the format, when to speak, and what to say next. After several people went up and read their paper, it was time for rebuttals. Certain people had no problem getting up in front of the class, and vehemently stating their position on the topic at hand. Once we were able to rebuttal with more ease, the debate went on a little more smoothly. In the middle of the debate, people didn’t want to end the argument as early as we did. We began to think more critically, coming up with better counterarguments and ideas. Considering this was our first debate, I would have to give it a six out of ten. Both teams were strong in some areas, and weak in others. Over time we will become stronger debaters and be able to develop and hone our skills. It is the weakest ammo, and usually the very cheapest to buy. Two years ago, there were boxes upon boxes of this ammo lying around everywhere. It was very easy to find and buy. However recently there has been a nationwide shortage. Manufactures and retailers can’t keep supplies on their shelves longer than a few minutes of receiving a new shipment. It should be pointed out that the ammo isn’t illegal, and it should be pointed out that it is being made, just not enough for the high demand. Finally I should point out that the prices by the retailers are usually $25.00 per box of 500 rounds. That comes to about five cents per round. This is where price gauging becomes an issue.
