Section III. Application Procedures:
1. Submit the completed and signed application form with a nonrefundable $60 application/evaluation fee ($50 late fee will be incurred after the application deadline.).
2. Submit official transcripts from all previous colleges attended to the NPU Admissions Office before the application deadline. Freshman applicant submits official high school transcript and copy of diploma.
3. Submit financial support documents (either your bank letter with a minimum amount of $25,000 or an Affidavit of Support letter from your financial sponsor).
4. Submit IELTS or TOEFL official score report (NPU’s Institution code for the TOEFL is 9626). Those who are in the U.S. at the time of application for admission have the option to take the on-campus English Placement
Exam (EPE) in place of TOEFL/IELTS. The second option(take EPE) is not for doctoral applicants.
5. Submit photocopy of passport or any other government issued I.D.card.
6. All new students are required to submit photocopies of visa and I-94 upon reporting to NPU.
7. For transfer students, you must submit a copy of your last I-20 form and the “Transfer Eligibility” form.

For Freshman applicants only (with less than 30 transferable semester units of college coursework):
You are required to take either NPU’s institutional assessment test or SAT-1 – score is for reference purposes only. NPU’s institution code for the SAT is 4335.



For MBA and DBA applicants only:
You are required to take either NPU’s institutional assessment test or GMAT – score is for reference purposes only. NPU’s institution code for the GMAT is 5485.



For DCE applicant only:
You are required to take either NPU’s institutional assessment test or GRE – score is for reference purposes only. NPU’s institution code for the GRE is 5485.

9. All doctoral applicants must submit a current resume, employment certification letter, and a statement of purpose of study.
10. If you are interested in being considered for an NPU scholarship, please refer to http://www.npu.edu/Scholarships.html for detailed information.
11. The admission process normally takes 2 to 3 weeks to complete. An additional 2 to 3 weeks will be needed for postal services to delivery your package. 5-workday express admission process may be requested for an additional $20 fee. And express postal service may be requested at cost depending on the carrier.
