Dave’s interest in physical therapy began just like mine did, when he injured himself playing baseball in high school. He pursued his career in physical therapy by going to Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. There he got his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1995. Because the requirements for being a physical therapist have changed since he graduated from college, he has been grandfathered into the physical therapy requirements with a Master’s and then a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. After he got his degree, he had to take a licensure exam to be able to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Northeastern is a very prestigious school for their physical therapy program. During his time there, they set him up for all the internships he needed, which really helped him network and make connections in the physical therapy community.
