Juul did an excellent job at delivering her speech to the audience. The type of appeal she use to persuade the audience was Pathos. Pathos was a very important key in Juul’s speech because pathos is utilize to convinced people through emotions. She uses phrases uch as “we need to wake up,” and “we could be feeding every hungry kid globally”. This brings a sense of conviction to the audience to stop wasting food. Juul continues with her speech by stating to the audience that the problem of food wasting is because people are “zombie consumers”. This phrases and words Juul uses are delivered through the lenses of Pathos, she is trying to persuade her audience by making them feel. In all, Juul is able to tied Pathos with Logos.
