All-in-all, Luce uses ethos and pathos as forms of rhetorics to show that she appreciates the work that journalists involves themselves into, as well as to show her audience about how ethics needs to be addressed to oblivious clients. Although this may not seem important considering that this speech was presented in the past, some people still realize that issues similar to this one are present in these times. One of the biggest connections with the issues that this speech presents is the exaggeration of headlines. Even though this speech addressed the issues with exaggerating stories in newspapers, many people realise that the same issue is present within the news commonly presented through social medias.
