Employee Portfolio Motivation: Riordan Manufacturing

As a manager of Riordan Manufacturing it is essential to motivate my employees and ensure that they are having a happy workplace. Fair compensation is a strong motivator as well as offering inexpensive gift cards or certificate of appreciation.
At Riordan, the staff encourages open and honest communication as another essential motivational strategy. These three employees are among the ones chosen for this motivation action plan.
When using the assessments to evaluate the three employees to maximize their potential. There are definitely reasons to put constructive feedback in any evaluation, just make sure you spend as much time and energy on the things the employee did really well. Try to focus on the things that they are best at and coach them to apply those skills and talents to other tasks. This will empower your teammate and hopefully give them ideas on how to leverage their strengths better. Employees should receive at least two positive feedbacks and one in ways that they can improve in areas that need improvement.
With Donterio Arnold his, strengths are a deliberate decisions maker and a great motivator. His weakness is that likes to work alone. Demone Smith strengths are his positive attitude with others and his loyalty to the company. His weakness is his decision making, with him the company will apply training classes for him to attend on weekends. With this training it will help him be able to make better decisions. This is an example

Percy Jackson Dialectical Journal

...2) The book starts off with a trouble maker in high school, Percy Jackson. This young man soon realizes that his life is about to flip upside down really quick as soon as he finds out that he is the son of a Greek god, Poseidon. His mom tells him that the city is no place for him anymore and he is now going to go to a training camp for young decedents of the gods. Percy learns how to use his powers and then he decides to set out on an adventure to rescue his mom who had recently been taken by a bad creature. He must stop a big war that is about to take place because of Zeus’ master bolt which was stolen by one of Percy’s friends, while at the same time rescuing his mother from the underworld. He then sets out on his adventure and discovers that the bolt was in his friends shield and he took off from the underworld and went to Olympus and gave Zeus his bolt back. Happily, ever after. 3) The significance of this title is the story it portrays for the book. The title alone implies that someone has stolen lightning which is what the author wants you to think because it seems un-human like to steal lightning so it gets you thinking. As the book says “Zeus sent out his sons and daughters to find the stolen lightning bolt” (P.357). This tells you that there was someone who had stolen the bolt from Zeus and this proves that the title of the book foreshadowed this by leading us to believe that there had been someone who has stolen the lightning. 4) The setting of this book was set...

Percy Jackson Archetypes

...In the stories Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief and “The legend of Perseus”, the Legend of Perseus is modernized in Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief by changing the events, Hero Archetypes, and themes. Have you ever wonder how Roman stories are like today and how they are made modern to meet your expectations? Events are one of the main thing modernized from ¨The legend of Perseus¨ to Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief. The events are modernized through the Hero’s Journey because in “The legend of Perseus” Perseus never meet the mentor and instead journeyed on his own “Perseus bid his mother good-by and set out to search for Medusa” (D'aulaires,117) unlike Percy Jackson who had several mentors Grover, Poseidon, and Chiron (Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief). Next, the events are modernized from the Hero’s journey once again. In “The legend of Perseus” since Perseus never really refused his call to adventure since he was somewhat forced into it as a child when Acrisius tried put him and his mom in a chest and threw them into the sea to blame on Poseidon. “He put Danae and her son, Perseus, in a chest and threw it into the sea”(D'aulaires, 115). Percy on the other hand, had refused to leave his mother and go to camp half blood but he Crossed the Threshold (Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief). Lastly, the events are modernized through plot structure. When Perseus in the “Legend of Perseus” went out to slay Medusa not only was he well aware he was going to kill Medusa but once...

Mark Of Athena Essay

...I choose The Mark of Athena because I love this author and was already reading this series. Rick Riordan wrote the Percy Jackson series and those were my favorite books, so I wanted to continue reading books like those. My first impressions were that it started it off slow but progressed quickly. The book was very exciting. The cover of the book was very interesting and wanted to make me read it because it shows two of the main characters that are allies fighting. In the second book The Son of Neptune , Percy, Hazel, and Frank met in Camp Jupiter, the Roman equivalent of Camp Halfblood, and traveled to the land beyond the gods to complete a dangerous quest. The third book, The Mark of Athena, will unite them with Jason, Piper, and Leo. The Greek and Roman demigods will have to cooperate in order to defeat the giants released by the Earth Mother, Gaea. Then they will have to sail together to the ancient land to find the Doors of Death. Much of the prophecy remains a mystery. They will have to work as a team if they want to accomplish this quest. With old friends and new friends joining forces, a marvelous ship, fearsome foes, and an exotic setting,...

Warrior Fanfiction

... When I was little, I was obsessed with this ongoing series called “Warriors”. It’s a 36 book series about cats who live in the wild. Now, I know, not much to be enchanted with, but I was 7 and it was the first time I hadn’t gotten bored with a book and quit halfway through. From 3rd to 7th grade, I dutifully read each book and waited with baited breath for the last official book in the series, when Firestar (the main character) would finally kill the ghost of his arch nemesis Tigerstar, therefor bringing peace to the clans. I waited for that battle for nearly 5 years. 5 years of my childhood revolved around that single, epic conclusion. In that time, I expanded my reading and actually started writing Warrior fanfiction before fanfiction became. I grew out of the series eventually, but I still read the last book when it came out. Frankly, I found the last book wanting (and they killed Firestar. The nerve. The sheer gall), but I found that I didn’t truly mind. I had grown up (a little), and had already found dozens of book series that I liked more. They were more challenging with advanced plotlines and better character development, and I never would have read them if I hadn’t fallen in love with reading through Warriors. In this case, my journey was more important than my destination. In fact, I find that to be true in most cases. In this essay, I will explain why I believe the journey is more important, using examples from literature and from life experiences. Books are...
