Robert Wise’s The Haunting has been one of the most haunted house films ever produced.I've seen this film with my classmates during my english class. This film is a black and white picture. The picture was once the most fearful film in the early 60’s.
This film takes place in New England, in a big haunted mansion. Dr. Markway, does research to prove the existence of ghosts, at the Hill House, a large mansion with a history of violent death. Luke, who stands to inherit the house, Theodora and Eleanor, with psychic abilities make her feel somehow there are spirits around the old mansion.
