Roscoe Robinson Jr. was an extraordinary individual who has had several accomplishments throughout his lifetime and career. Born on October 11, 1928, Robinson was forced to endure the harsh segregation as well as racist societies in his early years. However, despite difficult conditions, he managed to be the first African American to rise to the rank of an Anny four-star general and be one out of only two four-star generals in the military. He was part of the U .S. Military Academy Class of 1951, was known to have a degree in military engineering, and earned the Distinguished Graduate Award.
