They function for the mechanical breakdown of food, and are essential for the formation of speech. Humans throughout their existence have needed different sizes and shapes of teeth to adapt to their diet. Humanity’s’ ancestors consumed less meat and coarser vegetable material, whereas modern day humans consume more meat as a whole. The consumption of an herbivorous diet required large broad teeth necessary to grind the plant material. The modern day mouth consists of a combination of smaller herbivorous teeth, the premolars and molars, and sharper incisors and canine used for the ripping apart of tough meat products (Bigham). Human’s mouths contain a variety of different shaped teeth that look very diverse on the surface, but they actually contain the same components. Under their tough exterior are the living portions of the tooth, the nerves and blood vessels. These components lead to the classification of teeth as individual organs (Bougalis). The nerves are responsible for the sensations of hot, cold, or pain and the blood vessels nourish the tissue. Each tooth can be broken down into three main regions, the crown, neck, and root or roots depending on the location in the mouth. Yet there is relatively little guidance offered in the management literature on how to acquire vision. This paper describes practices that facilitate scenario planning so that it becomes a process for creating shared vision. Most of the work on scenarios addresses the mechanics of scenario construction. Those authors adopt a planning perspective and suggest scenario planning can benefit organizations by stimulating creative thinking about the future or improving forecasts. The Scenarios-to-Strategies (S2S) approach is presented, and scenario planning is considered from a communication perspective. Facilitation practices that enhance traditional scenario-building processes are presented which support the social processes of constructing shared vision. These operate on the layer of participants' cognitive processes, to integrate the different participants' views into a unified, shared framework that heightens understanding and commitment. Example scenario planning projects from two industries, electric utilities and software research, are summarized to demonstrate lessons learned that enhance the facilitation of scenarios as a group process. ...The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam: Summary & Analysis The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam presents an interesting challenge to any reader trying to sort through its heavy symbolism and not-so-obvious theme. Not only does the poem provide us with a compelling surface story, but a second look at the text can reveal a rich collection of seperate meanings hidden in the poem’s objective descriptions and sprawling narrative-which in the space of a few pages includes such disparate characters as the Moon, God, the Snake (and his traditional Christian neighborhood, Paradise), the “Balm of Life”, not to mention nearly every animal and sexual symbol the human mind can come up with. Obviously, on one level, the poem can present itself in a fairly straightforward manner in the vein of CARPE DIEM. In the third stanza, theauthor writes, “‘Open then the Door!/ You know how little while we have to stay,/ And, once departed, may return no more.” There’s several refrains to this throughout the poem, first in the seventh stanza: “Come, fill the cup. . ./ The Bird of Time has but a little way/ To flutter-and the bird is on the Wing.” The entire ninth stanza describes the summer month “that brings the Rose” taking “Jamshyd and Kaikobad away”, and so forth and so on ad nauseum. The specific segment is plagued by reduction of demands, lowering of prices, inventory accumulation etc. In order to maintain their sustenance, they now want to target the middle class segment of the society. The entire purpose of this dissertation was to identify in the present economic conditions of the country, the target customer for such real estate sector. In order to conduct the research, a mixed research methodology is adopted deploying both qualitative research as well as quantitative research. Relevant research instruments were chosen, and 10 respondents were interviewed for the qualitative research and 300 individuals were undertaken in the quantitative research methodology. It was found that indeed the middle class with their high aspiration levels, and disposable income were the ideal target for real estate. However, in order to further attract the target customers, a host of suggestions are made. A structured questionnaire has been used using convenience-sampling techniques from National Capital Region in India. Correlation and factor analysis has been used to explore consumers’ attitudes and behaviour towards green practices in the lodging industry. Findings – The consumers using hotel services are conscious about environmentally friendly practices in India. They patronise the hotels that have adapted green practices though not compromising on service quality. The consumers would prefer to use lodging that follows these practices but are not willing to pay extra for these services.
