Part 1

For each of the following six dimensions of health, list at least one characteristic, activity, belief, or attitude that reflects that dimension in your life. Provide a brief explanation with each example. Refer to Ch. 1 in Health for explanations of these dimensions.

Physical health:
Trying to eat healthy, so I can lose the weight I gained after being injured.

Social health:
Interpersonal relationships- Being able to interact with other people and maintaining satisfying relationships.

Intellectual health: being able to think clearly and making reasonable decisions.

Environmental health: learning new ways to help the environment around me so that it affects me in good ways instead of negative.

Emotional health: learning how to express my emotions so that they are not expressed inappropriately.

Spiritual health: my spiritual health is in my kids because they are my sense of meaning and purpose in life.

Part 2

In approximately 125- to 200-words, describe health and wellness in your own words using the ideas and concepts for each of the six dimensions of health.

I think that the overall health and wellness is made up of the six dimensions they are Physical, Social, Intellectual, Emotional, Environmental, and Spiritual. If you maintain all six of these concepts you will have a pretty healthy life style. To maintain a good physical health you need to eat properly, go to the doctor regularly, and exercise. To maintain a good social health you need to have the ability to have a broad social network, and know how to interact with other people. To maintain an intellectual health you need to have the ability to think clearly and make reasonable decisions.
