After finishing reading Bible, I am aware of the importance of diligence and the negative effect of being lazy. As a Christian, I strongly recommend that people should follow what the Bible has told us and listen to our God’s commands. Because the knowledge that Bible gives us will have a good and profound influence on our lives and help us out in many situations. During the process of reading Bible, we may gain much wisdom that will be helpful in our daily life. Also, God will see us that we are diligent in following his words and he will bless us in the future life. However, if we choose laziness when we are walking with God, he could penalize us because of the laziness that we have and let us fall into a much deeper sin. So Hebrew tells us about the good results of being diligent in our walk with Christ and it also points out the negative effects of laziness.
“A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied”. (Proverb 13:4) This is a scripture that I quoted from the Proverb 13:4. The writer of Proverbs, Solomon, pointed out that being diligent in our daily life would fulfill our life with wisdom and we would never feel empty everyday. We can receive plenty of knowledge and wisdom if we are hard working and diligent in finishing our daily tasks. However, laziness is a bad habit that we should overcome in our life. Bible tells us that, “The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns, but the path of the upright is a highway”. (Proverbs15: 19) A sluggard won’t have a chance to fail because he never trying to succeed. In that case, laziness has fulfilled his whole life and he will never feel the joy of becoming successful. Therefore, we should always follow the words what Bible has told us. “Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty.” (Proverbs 28:19) God’s words give us strength to face the challenges and help us out in every aspects of our life.
As for laziness, the Proverbs also mention a lot about the results of being lazy in our relationship with God. “The contrast between wisdom and folly is often a contrast between righteousness and wickedness”. This is a scripture that is related to the Hindson and Yates. For God’s part of view, laziness will only leads to trouble and detrimental consequences which are harmful for people’s life. Being lazy will make us far away from the things that God wants us to do, which is a sinful behavior for Christians. If our life is filled with laziness, bad and negative consequences will also come up and affect our daily life. We might unable to accomplish any goals that we set for ourselves before. “A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man.”(Proverbs 6:9-11) It depends on ourselves that which kinds of lifestyle we live with. If we choose to live in a laziness lifestyle, it will only bring negatives effects to our lives and let us fall into a deep sinful life.
Solomon tells us about the importance of being diligent and what kinds of consequences it will give us. If we become diligent and hard-working in our life, we may receive more positive outcomes. Otherwise, our life will be meaningless because it is filled with laziness. When it comes to wisdom and folly, I think that diligence can open up our eyes and provide us with much wisdom while laziness can only let us make some fool things. According to Hindson and Yates, it said that the exact meaning of wisdom is opposite of folly. As for me, I consider that disobeying our God’s commands is a folly thing for everyone. It may cause many negatives effects to us such as financial difficulties, a sense of insecurity, crushed relationships and so on. Therefore, we must completely trust in our God and follow his commands in our walk with him.
As a conclusion, making efforts on studying the Bible and praying for God will help us to live in a grateful and pleasingly live with our God. “Work hard and become a leader; Bing lazy and never succeed.” (Proverbs 12:24) Not trying or giving yourself into laziness will never result in happiness or a joyful life. Even worse, it will only bring you guilt and shame. Therefore, in our walk with God, being diligent is a motto which we should remind ourselves everyday because it is what God wants us to do. Only then will we have a chance to gain much more knowledge of wisdom from God and live in a happy and meaningful lifestyle. That is what the Hebrew teachings of wisdom have told us!

There are numerous errors in spelling and grammar – I did not mark all of them – and the most common is the writing in first person. This should be avoided in academic settings. It would be helpful for you to seek the assistance of the Online Writing Center to continue to improve your grammar skills.
