Executive Summary

Sanasa Development bank is a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act No. 17 of 1982 and registered under the companies Act No 07 of 2007. SDBL presently functions as a Licensed Specialized Bank under a banking license dated 21st August 1997 issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. This bank is an outcome of a visionary leader Dr.Kiriwandeniya who initiated a world recognized movement SANASA. (Sekasuruwm ha nayaganudenu pilibada samoopakara samithiya)Growing up a devout Buddhist, he was naturally drawn to finding a “middle way”; he has always shown a capacity to find a practical but honorable method to accomplish what needs to be done.
