GROUP 5:KOMAL VERMAMANSI MAKHIJANIPRAKARTI VAIDSRIRAM S.UMESH YADAV |

Activity 1
15 items were listed as being intact and undamaged after landing. The task was to rank them in terms of their importance for the crew, to allow them to reach the rendezvous point.
The Strategy followed by Group-5: * Each individual in the group was asked to prioritize and rank the items provided in the list for successful landing to the rendezvous spot. * Next the same step was performed along with the group members, so as to redefine and refine the most necessary items to reach the destination successfully. * Based on our individual rankings, discussions with the group members, some conflicts and at the end consensus on the ranking, we refined the group rankings for the items supported by common facts and proper illustration by the group members. * Example if one member knew what a stellar map is and why is it used and how important can the item be in such a situation the member explained his/her reason for the same, once convinced all the members ranked stellar map as suggested by that member. The approach was somewhat like selecting the best flower out of 5 bunches of flowers. * On the factors why the item is necessary, if all the members agreed to those particular facts and explanation provided then that item was given a rank based on the hierarchical approach. . * This was the approach that we followed for all the 15 item rankings. Each of the members concretely contributed to the decision and if someone is sure of something he/she convinced the team based on his/her knowledge, so as to get the consensus in the best possible way, so that there were no attitudinal clashes occurred. * There was proper and effective communication within the group, in case of conflict members explained each other many times with different examples to make the other member understand.
Conclusion:
The idealness of ranking for group 5 was to rank all the basic necessities such as oxygen, food, FM receiver etc. These items were considered as utmost importance while in the process of survival and reaching the destination “moon”. Our main goal was to reach the destination (mother ship), so we wanted to choose those basic things which would help us to survive in the conditions on moon and also help us to reach our destination (mother ship) rather than waiting for someone to rescue us. This coherence team strength led us to successfully reach our destination and stand best among the rest of the groups.

Esops-Project Report

...The sector overview and Major players The Indian Pharmaceutical industry is highly fragmented with about 24,000 players (around 330 in the organised sector). The top ten companies make up for more than a third of the market. The Indian pharma industry (IPM) grew by 16% YoY in 2012 to ` 629 bn. It accounts for about 1.4% of the world's pharma industry in value terms and 10% in volume terms. Besides the domestic market, Indian pharma companies also have a large chunk of their revenues coming from exports. While some are focusing on the generics market in the US, Europe and semi-regulated markets, others are focusing on custom manufacturing for innovator companies. Biopharmaceuticals is also increasingly becoming an area of interest given the complexity in manufacture and limited competition. The drug price control order (DPCO) continues to be a menace for the industry. There are three tiers of regulations – on bulk drugs, on formulations and on overall profitability. This has made the profitability of the sector susceptible to the whims and fancies of the pricing authority. In connotation, with pricing policy of 354 drugs, NLEM (National list of essential medicines) was released, which covered the list of the drugs which the authority intends to put under price control. The policy has been stiffly opposed by the pharmaceutical industry. Introduction of GDUFA (Generic drug user fee Act) in US. As per this act, the generic companies are required to pay user fees to USFDA, for...

India Evaluation for Startup Business

...Country Evaluation: India Describe the country of investment. Include the following: Economic structure, indicators and risk Throughout India the economic structure differs greatly from state to state. India is known for having one of the fasting growing economies in the world. This has a lot to do with the huge population in India. Capital, labor, and productivity growth have been the main contributors to the economic growth in the country. In recent years the Indian government has made great strides in strengthening the economy. Despite this push by the government there are still several very poor areas and the country still has a lot of uneven economic stability and because of this there is still a lot of room for improvement. The widespread poverty throughout India is one of the biggest challenges the country faces (Dasgupta & Chakraborty, 2005). For many years the Indian government had several rigid policies to discourage foreign investments but in recent years these policies have been under reform. Most of the growth that the economy of India has seen in recent years has been due to internal growth. The country depends very little on exports and this has been an advantage for their stability. When foreign countries have economic problems and in recent years when there are been global economic crisis, the effects are not felt as much on the Indian economy. India has a very good education system which is great for their economic growth. Unfortunately...
