Grease, the 1971 musical sensation, now has special ties to Duxbury. On January 31, millions of viewers tuned into Fox to see DHS Class of 2015 Graduate Skyler Wright as the star Duxbury already knew she was in Grease Live.
Skyler was one of only twenty girls chosen by casting directors out of thousands of applicants. “Just that statistic alone makes me feel so honored to have been involved in such an incredible show,” she said.
Her role as a student featured her in the foreground of several scenes, and she considers her experience on set as amazing. “It was honestly like reliving my senior year of high school, but all of my classmates were celebrities, and we all had super cool outfits,” Skyler said. “It was hectic and exhausting but in all …show more content…
Now in LA, she has been taking classes and auditioning often in order to make these dreams a reality. Just before she was cast in Grease Live, Skyler graduated from an improv class at the Upright Citizens Brigade, an organization founded by SNL alum Amy Poehler in 1990.
Skyler first became interested in acting at age 10 when she was named the lead of her first musical simply by chance. In No One Will Marry A Princess With A Tree Growing Out of Their Head, she played the princess.

Everyone just work on their own, making the team a collection of individuals rather than a real group. Without a channel to communicate with each other, it is hard to develop a sense of unity. The frequently organized business trips and the multiple projects at once also show that there is a miscommunication between the secretary and other members. Moreover, there is no standard of excellence to regulate and guide the performance of the employees. Team accomplishment is not being recognized as well. Members thus cannot find the value of performing to the utmost and are frustrated with the heavy workload. Given the above situation, the leader seems doing nothing to handle the stressful circumstances. Base on the analysis of team effectiveness, Jim should intervene at this time at internal level, focusing on relational actions. Building team relationship for a virtual team is even more important than collocated team. As they are working across time and space together with a need of dependence, the most critical aspect to enhance team efficiency is to focus on the collaboration between members.
