Background Analysis:
In the UAE there are many car dealers and service centers that provide all the services that a car needs. There are two ways a customer can service his or her car by either going to the original dealer or go to a service center. The main advantage that an original dealer has is that they provide genuine parts and keep the guarantee valid, but the problem is that these dealers take a lot of time to service these cars. The alternative is to go to a service center which provides a cheaper service in a shorter period of time, but my result in the warranty of the car to expire due to the service being performed by someone other than the dealer. The problem that customers face is that they sometimes experience problems that these solutions take too much time such as sudden breakdowns or having little time to go to the location of the service. Therefore the market in automobile services is not fully utilized to the customer’s needs in the UAE because only few service centers provide the necessary job at the right time for customer’s convenience.
Current Process:
The Servicing method that dealers and service centers provide is in this order: 1. The dealer/service center receives the car for the service 2. Car is assessed for the service that will be needed 3. A quotation of the price of the service and the parts is delivered to the customer 4. The parts are ordered form the warehouse 5. The service that is needed for the car is done 6. The customer receives and checks the quality of the service 7. The customer pays for the service that the company has provided

Many customers face the problem of having cars breaking down on the road for various mechanical or non-mechanical problems and they have to wait of the recovery service and then take the car to the dealership and then wait for several

I had good communication with the team and I helped out two of the other team members in finalizing their sections of the paper. Another group member and myself did most of the work formatting and editing the final paper after everyone had their part completed.
