To our stockholders,
This letter today is written to you today as a doorway for diversity. Within many of
America’s strongest companies and brands is diversity. For many generations, full-time working men would travel to work to provide for their families and be the working man.
In today’s age, specifically 2016, diversity in the workplace is the foundation for many pillars within a company.
Diversity among different race of people, gender, backgrounds, looks and ideas has become the focal point for a strong business. Opening the doors to both men and women, different races of employees and those from different backgrounds who work hard and provide to the goals within the company creates relationships within the company and drives support to …show more content…
Imagine within our program how we would be able to support all employees and encourage everyone regardless of who they are.

Starbucks website clearly speaks about diversity, “At the heart of our business, we seek to inspire and nurture the human spirit - understanding that each person brings a distinct life experience to the table. Our partners are diverse not only in gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion and age, but also in cultural backgrounds, life experiences, thoughts and ideas.”
Starbucks is focused on supporting their employees, who they refer to as partners. We should focus within our company the same values as Starbucks in that they value every different life experience, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, thoughts or age. Everyone is different and this will provide great ideas and direction for the company once we tap into this cultural side of our employees.
I’m confident that we can design and implement a program that informs all current employees and future considering employees that we’re supportive of
