Learn from Life Life is an endless lesson; every impact is a credit. This year, I am 25 years old. I am not a weather-beaten guy, but life still teach me a lot. I was born in a not rich family, both of my parents are busy on their jobs. To earn money to support family and make me live better, my parents spend their times almost. At that time, may be eight or tern years old, I learned how to wash clothes and cook for myself. These things made my parents felt supervise, but they did not know why I should do these. This is life, and it teach me the first lesson is every thing should have done by yourself. Life also bring human supervise. When I was twelve years old. I was in the primary school, at that time I lived in the school because the school is far away from home. Before the week begin, my father tells me: “Son, I will come to you school and take you home this Friday after the class.” I am very happy at that moment because I was tired to take bus to home and stay at home alone. I even do not think about it then say: “OK, I will wait for you, dad.”
I still remember that week is very tantalizing. The only thing I did those week is waiting for the Friday coming. I hope next second is the last class of the Friday and then I see my father is standing there wait for me, we will back home hand in hand. Despite all this, time is still slowly. Eventually, Friday is coming. I make up myself in the morning on that day, I know father will come to school and take me home. I feel full of energy on that day. Finally, the class is over, and the teacher tells us stay safe on the weekend. I can not wait and run out of the classroom. I feel so excite and looking for my father in the throng but I do not find my father. May be he will come later or stand behind of the throng. I sit back to my seat and wait for my father coming.
At beginning, I am full of patience and looking for my father in the throng. Ten minutes later, I tend to feel tired and my patience is going down. Thirty minutes later, I tend to lose my mind and lose my patience, my father still not turn up. I start to complain and ask myself why my father is not come. At that time, my teacher sees me sit alone in the classroom, she asks me: “Do you need me take you to the bus station?” I said: “No, thanks. My father said he will come to pick me up.” Finally, when I was the last child in the classroom, I know today my father is not able to come and take me home. On the other hand, my heart tells me I should keep waiting for my father. I think fifteen minutes later, I decide to take bus home and I stand up then try to walk out, I see my father is standing out of the classroom and stretching his neck and looking for someone. I called: “Dad, what are you looking for?” My father heard my voice and stupidly for second and told me he mixed the time and forget which is my classroom. Honestly, I can not explain how is the feeling like, but I know that my feeling is exciting.
On the way home, my father asks me: “Waiting a long time?” I said: “Its OK, at least you coming in the end.” My father is laughing and he told me a sentence which I still remember in my mind. He said; “Son, no matter where you are and how far is the distance, I said I will come to pick you up then I must be there because I promised.” I look at my father and that day I feel my father looks like god. I can not remember the whole thing happened that day, but his words still stuck in my heart. One time, I ask him: “Why you say those words?” My father said: “You know, your mom and me do not have enough time to stay with you and we do not want to lose even one chance to stay by your side and that is I promise you. I have to do it because we are the family.” Family, which is the harbor during our life when we meet storm. Family, which is an inseparable part in our life. Family, the most important thing that I learn from the life.
Life not only teaches me what family is, it also teaches me time is too short. It is a summer during the vacation. The weather is hot, I was to lazy to walk out and talk with some one. I spend lots of time to play online game and watch films. During that time, I tend to lock myself in the room and refuse any social actives. One day, it at dusk. I finish my game and walk out of the house to buy some food.
I walk to the night market and look for some food to buy. I wear a loose shirt and short. I am very enjoy that moment, it seems like very leisurely and floppy with dishevelled hair and a dirty face. I find a grill house and walk in to it. I tell the boss give me twenty shish kebab and two bottles of beer then I found a seat and sit down. Habitually, I pull out my phone from my pocket and start to play some online game. At the same time, I see some “young guys” walk in to the store and cigarette on their lips. They look not like a real adult but their hair style and some tattoos make them look like a ruffian. I do not want to get trouble and lower my head keep playing my phone.
Few times later, the waiter bring my food and start to drink the beer. At the same time, I heard the things they are talking about so lone are how long they spend time in the online game without break and which one they beat up during the school. Their conversations more like a autobiography that how they become ignoramus. I tend to think about myself and find most time I did the same thing with those tough guy.
I spend all day to stay in room to play online games. Even I feel tire and I do not go to take a break. Most time, I stay at home and lay on the bed in stead of connect with my friends. I try to deem my life like a blank. Then I keep thinking and I find that if I keep this habit, one day I will become the people like those ignoramus. At that time, I feel like get a shock on my soul. I try to ask myself, “ why I need to spend all time on games?” “ why I can not walk out to connect to my friends and why I can not go out to have a travel?” “ why I need to stay at home all the time and make myself like a sluggard?” I do not want to be the person like those ruffians, I want to be a useful man and enjoy my real life.
Thought here, I pay the money and run to home. On the way home, I tell myself that I can not act as a sluggard, I need to change, I need to learn some new things, I need to walk out to broaden my horizons and increase my knowledge because life is too short to waste. I will not waste my time again and stop learning new knowledge. After that day, I delete all my games. Now, I need to say thanks to those tough guy, without them, I think I am still addicted to those games and be like a sluggard.
