The E-Myth Revisited
People who are exceptionally good in business aren’t so because of what they know but because of their insatiable need to know more. Businesses fail when their owners spend their time and energy defending what they think they know.
A business doesn’t miss the mark by failing to achieve greatness in some lofty, principled way, but in the stuff that goes on in the multitude of seemingly insignificant, unimportant, and boring things that make up every business (and life as well).
The greatest business people have a genuine fascination for the truly astonishing impact little things done exactly right can have on the world.
The book is about four profound ideas that can mean the difference between the success and failure of a small business:
1. There is a myth in this country (the E-Myth) that says that small businesses are started by entrepreneurs risking capital to make a profit. This is not true.
2. The Turn-Key Revolution is changing small business around the world, in the way we do business, who goes into business, how they do it, and the likelihood of their survival.

In an effort to achieve this, this study investigated the impact of motivation on students’ school academic achievement in mathematics in secondary schools using motivation for academic preference scale (α = 0.82) as a measuring instrument and achievement test in mathematics (ATM) Two hypotheses were tested for significant at 0.05 margin of error using t-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA) Results showed that gender difference were significant when impact of motivation on academic achievement was compared in male and female students. Also other result indicates significant difference when extent of motivation was taken as variable of interest on academic achievement in mathematics based on the degree of their motivation. Implications, suggestions and recommendations on students, parents, government, counsellors, educational stakeholders, etc were discussed. Twelve secondary schools were randomly selected from Egba and Ijebu divisions of the state. A sample of three hundred and sixty (360) students participated in the study. Three research instruments were used to collect data. There was no significant difference in study habit and selfconcept of students in public and private schools. However, private school students performed significantly better than their public school counterparts in integrated science (t = 3.400, p<0.05). In both public and private schools student study habit and self-concept combined together and singularly predicted science achievement.
